I did this myself?!!! First time success!! 🚀
I’m shocked! I’ve never made anything like this before. I usually SUCK when it comes to designing stuff. Since there weren’t instructions included, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and read tutorials online.I blew up all of my balloons in the kit. My garland was going over my fireplace mantle in the family room. Upon measuring it out with the tape, it looked like most of the tape would be used (so I didn’t cut it to fit). One tip I saw said to tie the tape to two chairs, and attach them while it was suspended. I used the black string in the kit and tied both ends of the tape to my toddler’s small chairs (see pics). It worked great! I didn’t plan it out at all; I started with the biggest balloons I’d blown up (mostly navy and black) and spread them out evenly (every 4-8 holes or so). Then I added some colored and silver ones. The smaller balloons were filler, so I waited until those were hung to add them. I NEVER used the balloon glue, just the holes in the tape. I’m sure I could have made it more “designer” by using it, but I ran out of time and energy! The only thing I added were my own swirly rainbow balloons, which look like planets!I have an electric balloon pump. Blowing them up and tying them by hand took about 30 mins or less. Stringing them took a good 1-2 hours, mainly because I’m a perfectionist and rearranged them often. The planet balloons were EASY to blow up. There’s a trick! If you can’t get the long skinny silver balloons to blow up, try stretching them out a few times. I used a manual pump and they blew up easily. I held my balloons in my knees as I wrapped the rings around, then tied them. Cut the ends of the silver balloons off so they weren’t hanging down, and voila! PLANETS! Wish I had more of them. I added those LAST so we could see them. It’s not perfect but it looks awesome! It was actually fun and I’d do it again…. With more time set aside!UPDATE: my son was OVER THE MOON excited about it. I’ve had it up for 5 days and only 2 balloons have fallen. Also, I never had any balloons pop while making it!Hope this helps 🚀

These are the best, durable balloons I've ever purchased!!!
I don't usually write reviews, however the longevity of these balloons has blown my mind. I purchased these around July 2022 for my sons 1st birthday. Today is Nov 18 2023 and my son is still playing with one of the foil balloons (see last pic taken today, first 2 from his bday). The entire garland was hung in his room and I literally had to pop them 2 months ago. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon; really great quality, vibrant, and beautiful.

Good price for an easy DIY
For $15 this was a great value. I bought a manual balloon pump at the store for $3 and used that to blow up all the balloons. The tool for tying the balloons was really handy and made it easy.It did take a long time to inflate and then put together the garland. About 2.5 hours between my husband and I, we had zero balloon garland experience so maybe that’s why it took a while.Had so many balloons for what we needed that I made a mini garland for above the window. Our daughter was super surprised and loved her balloons so much!Overall we loved the effect and it was easy to do (just time consuming). Highly recommend.

received what I was supposed to.
I purchased this kit for the Mylar balloons specifically.. they’re perfect & look exactly like pictured my only issue that I would suggest maybe finding a way to tweek is the location of where you insert air on the astronaut possibly in between the legs so when you tie it in place on a column it’s centered , because it’s on the side of the foot and there aren’t any other holes going along the sides of the balloon , it’s really difficult to attach onto a balloon column. If you try and attach with a string at the hole where the foot is it tilts sideways and creates a lot of pressure ultimately ripping the only hole you have lol I ended up gorilla glueing just that one onto the balloon in hopes it’ll stay in place. 🤞🏼But that would be my only suggestion. Other than that it’s a great purchase & if you’re not using it for a column then it’s def easy to attach to an arch 😊
