Electronic Arts The Sims 4 City Living - PC

I have to say that I did not realize when I purchased this that it was just a game code and not a disc. It isn't an instant one, it delivered a case like the discs come in, except you open it up, and there's no disc, just a code to enter on origin. I still don't see that in the description, so maybe I'm just missing it, but I felt a little mislead. I also almost freaked out when I opened the package and it was empty, thinking there's no way they would believe me and do a return. Nevertheless, the code works fine and I actually prefer them, but I would have liked to have known that's what I was getting beforehand! That being said, I love this expansion. I've been waiting on something like this for years as someone who's been playing since the very first game. It has it's downsides as every expansion does (long loading times sometimes), but overall I think they did a very nice job on the game. I like the create-a-sim and build mode objects included in this one personally. I like that it has a multi-cultural feel to a lot of the new stuff too.

Great sims expansion pack. Adds so much cool new furniture, a beautiful new metropolitan world, the ability to live in apartments and enjoy big city venues for entertainment. There are new career options, the ability to work your way up from a studio apartment to a penthouse as you become richer, and so much more! Definitely #1 recommended expansion pack for the Sims 4, one of the best in my opinion!

I am really enjoying this expansion, and I think it greatly improves the Sims 4 experience. You start with plenty of money for a nice apartment with economical rent. The colors are bright and energizing. There are fun and interesting festivals right in front of my "stoop." My fav is the Indian food festival where you need to master some SPICY chow. There are some new Sims, with Miko being a real catch for a girlfriend. The city is also beautiful at night, and I love hearing and seeing the El go by. You will need to develop strategies for noisy neighbors, which can range from talking to them, leaving notes, or just plain curb-stomping them. It's not nearly as troublesome as it first appears. It is also painfully true to life.

My 9 year old daughter wanted this but couldn't find it anyplace. We ordered and received it quickly and she has been using it ever since. Now she thinks she may want to be an architect or a designer. This is way better than the mindless games out there.
