Original shaving soap stick LEA 50 gr

I purchased this as a travel soap primarily but now use it exclusively. The price can't be beat compared to other shave sticks available online. There are a few negative comments on this product elsewhere online, but It would seem to me, these are from people unfamiliar with shave sticks. Using a brush once it's applied to your face is key. The lather is thick, not an overpowering scent, and lubricates well. The packaging is also a huge plus, as it protects the stick, and allows it to dry after use with no problems. Well worth checking out before dropping more than a few dollars on a shave stick.

its all middle of the road .mediocre,average, just ok. no wow's here. not as slick as Arco. not as good smelling as Taylor of old bond street. I wouldn't buy it again. wouldn't throw it away either.

tried it in hand with a good brush and by applying directly and brushing up lather on face. it results in a thin lather that is good for one pass. shaved about 15 times with it. not satisfied. smells like cheap soap.

This is the best smelling shave stick I've tried so far. Been looking everywhere for it. West coast shaving and maggord razors never has it in stalk. Amazon strikes again. Out of all shave sticks this one is king. The sent can't be beat so fresh and clean. Trust me guys get this in your shave den.

I used it this morning on three days growth, and with very little effort it produced a thick, creamy lather with a synthetic brush. I shaved with a Muhle R41 and the soap provided plenty of protection with no cuts.The scent is clean and soapy and reminds me of the old black Boots stick that I used in the 90s. It also comes with a lid which makes it ideal for travel.This stick is a real bargain, proving you don't have to spend stupid money on artisan products as the old brands are still around and providing great shaves.

Grab the stick, apply directly to face and go at it with the brush. Generates a thick slick lather in no time.Personally I don't mind the scent, it's not particularly strong for me, but then again I've got a fair few other brands (DG, B&M, Noble Otter, Mammoth...the list is endless) with significantly stronger scents so my nose may be skewed.Just a small added touch but the holes in the top are a great addition to allow it to be packed away but still marginally aired. I suspect this one may find its way into my travel bag.

I like tallow based soaps for shaving and washing. They are traditional and have always worked well. I have terribly dry skin and I have had the best result with tallow based products. We seem to be seeing less tallow based products these days which is a real shame, as I think they're great. This soap is pretty decent as a shave soap and It lasts for ages which makes it excellent value. My only issue with it was the scent was too strong. It smells nice, but I'm not a fan of strong scents anyway, so I just couldn't get along with it. Might suit a lot of other people though who don't mind the scent, and it gives a very good thick lather and shave.

Good shaving soap with screw cap that's ideal for travelling.

The smell is a clean soap type of smell. It won't be for everyone but it's a very good performer. Very handy as a travel companion. The cream is also a good performer.
