The cutting mold is well made and makes cutting soap loaves easier and more accurate than by hand. My soaps for personal use have a higher fat so the soap tends to stick, which is expected (not the products fault). The sides of the mold are glued and doweled on, not held on with screws, which is just fine, but no disassembly for cleaning, but the surface wipes clean easily with paper towels and a little water.The slots are "mostly" 1 inch apart, the first one is 1-1/2, the next 4 are exactly 1", the next one is 1/32 of an inch longer, then picks back up at 1" for the next 4, then another 1/32" off. It isn't enough to notice, or makes much difference in the cut bars. I just measured out of curiosity.It's overall price for what you get is a good deal, but I wish they offered a less expensive option without the cutters as I already had 2 sets, now I have 3. If you are looking for a cutting mold, this is good purchase.I had already cut my soap prior to review, so I put the soap mold in so you can have a reference for size. Another picture shows my coffee scrub soap, one was cut prior to getting the mold, then I held off cutting the other until the mold was delivered.

Almost broken . Really badly cracked on the first two segments. The knives wasn't even packed - just throwed inside with the bags on the other side . You still can see the white glue on the sides . If had an option to give 0 * I would . The straight knife is swinging - not attached good to the holder . For paying Primemembership we deserve better quality...

The sturdiness of it is great. I was disappointed because the slats between are a little too wide and it’s hard to get a perfect slice. I use it to cut my soap loaves and I need them to be close to 4 ozs each. My bars range from 3-5 ozs. And I can’t get the cut straight. Some bars are wider at the bottom than they are at the top. I wouldn’t buy again.

Arrived with cracks in it on the bottom, but since I made soap loaves last night expecting this delivered today, I went on and used it. Mostly uniform cuts and simple to use. The wider cutter would work for the regular soap molds or for when i use my silicone bread molds to make soap.

At first I was going to try cutting my soap on my own but it was going well so I wanted to purchase an affordable option to help me out. This works pretty well for cutting my soap.
