Q: I can’t get the handle to extend. What is the secret?

I have 1 of these. All you haft to do is twist the handle and it will slide out. Then twist the handle to hold it tight.

Q: how do you wring it out to use it as a mop?

This is an excellent mop? I clean homes and I use this with a small amount of once n' done on vinyl, linoleum, and tile floors including my own home. After I take it out of the bucket, I wring it out real good to just where the mop is damp. I find using the fluffy blue side works great and does good if I need to scrub hard anywhere to remove something off of the floor. It does not damage the floors either, nice and soft. I just throw it in the washer and it comes out clean. But in time, like maybe 50 or more washing, the velcro will eventually start not sticking good, which is to be expected over time. I give this mop a 5 plus.

It will pick up dust, the shaggy side is great for that, the smooth side is great for buffing. It will push hard items around, but I find it helpful for getting them gathered up

Q: How long is the handle when it's fully extended?

Between 5 and 6 feet. Very nice length
