Looks great, but too small to be of use
This product would look great if it were slightly bigger, but it's 5" in diameter, so if you had an old thermostat which had been painted around, you're still going to see four different-colored corners behind this face plate. The manufacturer says in one of the Q&As that it's 6" in diameter, but that isn't correct.If you're only dealing with a hole in the wall from a previous installation, this would be fine. Just make sure to measure out a 5 inch circle first to ensure you'll have adequate coverage.
