Sturdy, stable, clean look. Good value for price. Has wall anchor straps and hardware which is wise with taller bookshelves, even with adjustable feet. Good quality small screwdriver is supplied and vital for installing wood shelves as the area is tight for a longer handled driver. If you don't have a power driver that is angled to fit into smaller areas, a good strong wrist or quite a few breaks is needed as the screws go into plastic receivers and take serious torque to install. But this is a big plus for the stability of the unit. Over time the screws will remain solidly set and present no danger of digging larger holes in particle board that might induce wobbling. I have all except top shelf filled with books. It would also hold them fine, just don't need it for more books.

I love this product! I spent several months searching for the perfect shoe rack that was deep enough, sturdy and adjustable to hold my shoes and be fashionable enough to be seen in my open laundry room. My search ended with this one. Each side bar is drilled for the shelving screws which enabled me to space the shelves out for my specific shoe needs, based on shoe heights with boots versus flats. I bought 2 complete units to have enough shelves for my shoe rack and still have enough for my office shelf. I used 8 shelves on the shoe rack and the remaining 4 shelves (12 shelves total from the two units combined) to complete the two shelving systems. Each unit comes with 6 shelves. The unit is well built and so attractive. The shelves are the perfect depth for my size 9 shoes. I have 37 pair of shoes or boots on the unit and another 4 pair on the floor under it…41 pair of organized shoes beautifully displayed!! The office unit holds the heavy binders and books nicely with no sagging from the weight of them. I highly recommend this product.

I love this bookcase. After dealing with cheap ones that if you tried to move them fall apart, I finally sprung for a better and I definitely found. It was easy to put together and once together not rickety or wobbly and I've had it on both carpet and bare floors with no issues.It holds a great deal of books without bowing or leaning. The only con I have is that I wish the X on the back was behind each shelf so I wouldn't risk anything falling off the backside but that's minor.Looks exactly like the picture and the height is true. This is probably the only brand of bookcases I will get again!

I ordered two of these and they are fairly easy to put together, just make sure you put all the holes on the same side for the back X support. It's also easier if you put it together upside down. The little screwdriver provided is a little too small for the screws so if you have a short phillips screwdriver with a larger end it will be easier. (The reason for 4 stars instead of 5.) The wood shelves are colored on all sides so there's no bad view if you don't put these against a wall. When you put it together, you can easily choose different shelf positions. I ended up putting a shelf at the very top and very bottom and evenly spacing them between. Since I don't have young children and these are going in a guest bedroom, I'm planning to put heavy items on the bottom shelves and not anchor them. Anchoring straps and screws are provided.
