What I expect for the price
First order arrived pretty beat up, returned and this one looked better. I didn't think to take pictures as I went, but grabbed a couple post install. This was purchased for my wife's jeep wrangler unlimited. She wanted to retain the stock radio, but the sound quality and volume level were pathetic. This was installed under the driver's seat, with a hand made set of brackets. Bolting to the seat frame and holding it just out of site and off the floor (2 inch plate iron from home depot used, but I would recommend aluminum if I was doing this again. This stuff is overkill, even at 1/8 inch.) The amp fit perfectly this way, wires are far enough under they won't be hit and lots of air flow to keep things cool. As far as performance, using line level input from the jeep radio I didn't expect much. We're running 8 midrange speakers (3 way 6.5 and 2 way 3.5 in soundbar and dash) at 2ohm this amp fits these speakers perfect. They can handle all it offers and scream with beautiful clarity. The sub we choose was a 10 inch bazooka I've had on hand for 10 years plus. Still in box lol. Running off the single channel at 4ohms the amp can easily over power it... and before I even had a chance to break it in, our teens made it bellow smoke on a grocery run. Even with the early abuse, it still provides a very solid thump, enough to perfectly compliment the high end. Loud enough that the wife will not turn it up at all and the sub gain is set at min. She describes it as not being able to see when the bass hits... at some point I may purchase a higher end dvc sub in a decent box and push it enough to heat up this amp, but for now, I don't see it ever sitting down for thermal. Overall, I will likely buy this amp again for my next teens upcoming vehicle. Pretty much perfect for the cost, power output is as expected on front stage, better than expected on sub channel.

Solid amp that delivers strongly to a lower budget audio upgrade.
Arrived before any other part I ordered, so it sat looking pretty. Scared to hook up such a low price amp I did, took me and a friend a night to install it in my 06 mazda 3, we had to yank the bose amp and speakers. This thing drives some nice speakers, I probably could cook an egg on it. But a week has gone by and it is delivering & doesn't quit. Can't turn the volume all the way up... too loud. Pair this with some nice mid range speakers like JBL GTO or Rockfordfosgate punches. I have the gto components in my front and punches in the back. It drives the hell out of my crappy Sony xplod subwoofer (the speakers make it sound like garbage... makes me want to upgrade the sub >:) I am thoroughly satisfied. A solid amp for the price I have the 4 year warranty just in case, but so far this thing puts out the power measured each speaker with an oscilloscope it is putting over 65w rms to each speaker at 2 ohm. (That's measured by a test tones at around 45 on my pioneer hu) Its a beast. I'll update the 5th mono channel when I get a sub (or two) worth mentioning. LOUD. hot. Solid. If you run 4gauge make sure it's quality. She sucks a descent amount of amps. Don't kill a descent amp by throwing in a $20 hookup kit.

Buy this amp already! No comparison!
This is a fantastic amplifier and it is a screaming deal at this price. I have never had a 5-channel amplifier have this much power without dimming my headlights, and not only does this one put out ridiculously rated power but it does so in a clean sounding fashion and just wakes up my subwoofers (and neighbors if I'm not careful). I love the attention to detail - power & ground terminals hold 4 AWG wire with no trimming or reducers needed, the green led is on but not blinding, and the INCLUDED bass knob has no led to distract while driving. Class AB on channels 1-4 is clear and loud, and class D on channel 5 is pure clean power; truly the best of both worlds. I am driving 4 3-ohm 6x9s with the 4 front channels and 2 12s (2-ohm load) with the subwoofer channel and I can't ask for any more, AT ANY PRICE. There simply is no better amp deal out there, and the price only makes this even better. UPDATE: I put this amp through its paces during a 115+ degree weekend in 'Copa County, AZ and NO OVERHEATING, just one more reason to recommend it. For comparison, my previous class AB amps (Powerbass ASA1100.5 and Soundstream RUB5.800) couldn't make it 25 minutes before overheating, and my previous class D amp (Powerbass XAX 5670FD) did not sound anywhere near as clear as this amp.

Phenomenal all in one amplifier!
This is a great all in one amplifier, no need to have multiple power and ground wires for other amplifiers. When you are short on space this is the budget friendly 5 channel amplifier you turn too. Not to mention it comes with a birth certificate for true RMS wattage, mine did come up short ( 1000 watts rated but the Birth Certificate said 800 watts ) but what do you truly expect for this price, knocked off 1 star. Besides that, great amplifier.

Annnd another one! Best 5 channel amp on Amazon for the price!
Makes my 2nd rockville amp. This has to be the best budget friendly 5 channel amp out there that actually does its rated rms power. Have this amp on 4 kicker csc65 and man its loud and clear. Have sub channel on a jbl 12 gto band pass @ 4ohm and its slapping it silly. Good thing is i have room for a better sub later if decide to upgrade same with my other door and deck i can run 2 ohm and get moooooore powaaaaaa but im happy atm and just going enjoy what i have now. Rockville is a great product. They even sent me a free t-shirt a few years back! Love their amps!

I don't think this amp can be beat in its price range. Great sound , lots of flexibility. I have this amp installed for 2 months now, and so far I really like it. Be sure to run a 4 guage copper power wire, no that copper covered aluminum stuff! This amp loves power , and in return will get you the sound you want!

I used to own a car audio shop and I hated selling cheap crap as it cost me too much in warranty returns. This may sell cheap but what an amp.... I can't think of anything on the market that delivers more power for the money. As for the overheating issue, I made a custom amp rack with an opening underneath the amp. I installed 3 5" DC fans underneath and I can abuse it for 6 hours of constant driving and no overheating issues. It's all about how it's installed. Also, I have a stock 90 amps alternator with big 3 upgrade and I rarely dip below 13.5 volts. I wish I had known about those amps years ago.

I purchased this amplifier based on the reasonable price and good feature set for a budget minded amplifier. It was installed in my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan for a little over 12 months. For the first 12 months of the install, the amp did the job. It's not going to win any power output or sound quality awards, but if you're just looking to power up a basic system so that you can enjoy some music for daily driving, it is sufficient. I'll say that I had the amp in a reasonably well ventilated area in my van, but after playing music at my preferred listening levels during short in-town trips, typically less than 20 minutes long, the heatsink would get uncomfortably hot. During that time, the amp never cut off or shut down, but it seemed like the amplifier was working extremely hard to power my 5 channel system. The sound quality of the amplifier never really impressed me. The 4 channels are underpowered, and distort easily if you're driving components or 6x9's at loud volumes, but I noticed that raising the crossover point did help a bit. The sub channel is adequate to run a single lower power subwoofer around 300 watts RMS, but again, the power output didn't impress me. Fast forward 12 months and I got into my van and all of a sudden out of nowhere the amplifier started blasting DC voltage to my front component speakers. There was no way to shut it off short of disconnecting it and taking it out of the vehicle, which I did. I've since replaced it with another amplifier that has been working flawlessly for longer than this Rockville RXH-F5. My 1 star rating for this amplifier is based on 1) Poor longevity of the Product 2) The failure mode could have damaged my speakers (thankfully it didn't). 3) Mediocre Sound Quality and Performance. Had this amplifier lasted longer, I'd probably give it 3 stars, but based on the fact that it failed in such a short time, this is a 1 star review.
