Whiteside Router Bits SC50 Carving Liner 11-Degree by 5/8-Inch Cutting Length

Love this carving bit by Whiteside. Stays sharp, nice clean lines. Pro tip: it works even better if you don’t drop it on the concrete floor. Prior to dropping it, I used it for 7 or 8 projects, and it worked as well as the day I got it. Bought again.

I accidentally ran this bit into one of my hold-down clamps during a production run, given my experience with cheaper bits, I expected the bit to break, at least the tip. Nothing happened to it, it still cuts accurately. That's the hallmark of a well made product - it can survive user errors. I would recommend these for anyone, these can significantly improve the products your business produces.

The router bit was delivered in a timely manner and was everything I expected in a quality bit from Whiteside Machine Company.

Great alternative to a 60 or 90 degree vbit on a smaller detail work. Nice compromise between fragile engraving bit and rougher vbits. I use this to VCarve smaller text and graphics. Pretty easy to enter 22 degrees ad 1/4 inch diameter into vectric software and it calculated all the feeds and speeds for me. Good results so far. I'm ordering a backup.

This is a great bit for adding an engraved detail to your wood work. The sharp point cuts cleanly and is very easy to control by hand. I am using it in a Bosch colt router and can not pull the bit up high enough to make cut less than 1/8" deep.

After watching some videos on YouTube I found that this bit is one of the most common used by the pros who carve thousands of signs each year. With a fine, sharp point, it makes your hand carving easier to follow pattern lines or just keep a straight line when freehand routing.

This router bit is absolutely amazing!!! The picture says it all- it cut through the wood like butter. This was the first time I did this kind of etching on wood and although it’s not perfect, the router bit helped me get my design cut beautifully. You will not regret getting this bit, whether you are experienced with this or not!
