Perfect replacement for 2008 Expedition rear air.
Installed in the rear auxiliary air conditioner in a 2008 Expedition when the original started thumping loudly. It matches the original and works perfectly. Installation was easy and only took about 10 minutes from start to finish. 1. Remove the rear cup holder and top panel cover by lifting them up with something that won't scratch the plastic and pulling up. 2. The actuator is right there, use a 8mm 1/4 socket for the 3 screws, I loosened then and was careful to not drop it inside the panel. You will never find it. 3. Remove the the actuator and then disconnect the electrical connector. 4. Connect electric to the new one and it will drop in when lined up correctly, once it drops in replace the three screws but be careful not to over tighten. 5. Hardest part is replacing the top cover. Place the side closest to you in first and then both the left and right sides. The side closest to the window will not be clipped in yet. I figured out that if I left the cup holder out I was able to use my fingers to push down that left side. Once the three sides are clipped down pull back towards you and the back ones should drop under the plastic panel. Took a few tries but got it flush. 6. Replace the cup holder and your done. 7. No need to calibrate anything, it will do it on its own when the rear air is turned on. If this review was helpful to you please click on the yes below. Thank you.

OEM part fits 2006 Expedition
Fits my 2006 Expedition perfectly not more clicking noise or changes in temperature from cold to hot by itself. The driver side was a hassle to replace but worth it. OEM product I recommend.

No more clicking.
Works great. Fixed the annoying clicking noise under my dash. Put in a 2005 Ford Expedition.

Fits a 2016 Navigator
This fits my 2016 Navigator perfectly! The old actuator has a serial number of 1L2h-19E616-BB new actuator serial number was exactly the same on the device. The plastic bag the new one came in had serial number 1L2Z-19616-AA and a part number of YH-1856. After reading the reviews I decided to try and YES it fit and worked perfectly. My main point is this fits a 2016 Lincoln Navigator for anyone that may be wondering. Saved about $30+ buying on Amazon vs. Ford website. Good luck to anyone considering/checking.

I believe Ford should do better. There are reviews and forums with a lot ...
Appears to be identical to original, and the original is the issue. Ford is installing these cheap door handlers that have weak plastic gears inside. In our 2007 Expedition, all 3 of the actuators have stripped out. I changed the two in the back end of the vehicle, but the one under the dash that controls temp for driver is stripped out as well, and to fix that, I'll have to pull the entire dash out to get to it. Basically, I believe Ford should do better. There are reviews and forums with a lot of these failures as they are in the truck series as well. So far these parts are working, but I don't know how long they will last. Will update if they fail soon.

2008 base navigator
Installed on 2008 Navigator base (short wheel base). My old acuators where clicking every time I turned the AC on. Trying to figure out what part to order was difficult. These actuators are for the rear AC and you will need two of them. One controls where the air blows and the other controls the temperature. I think the L and EL wheelbase use a different part#, I think the stem is different. I paid $42 each from Amazon. On the front of the pkg was YH-1856 and right below it was 1L2Z-19E616-AA, which is the Lincoln part#. On the actual part was a sticker with 1L2H-19E616-BB, same as the old part I took out. The new parts had a snug fit and it was a little difficult to get the stem started in the hole. I got everything installed and put back together and the new parts are working perfectly. I would recommend buying the Motorcraft part and not a generic.
