I love how it really does work as advertised. Just as I realize the sun is setting, the lights magically come on around my yard. It’s perfect. I hope it’s as durable as it is dependable at this time.

Very convenient plug and play. The meter itself is bulky and will hang out of your outlet like a half-brick of sorts, has a bit of heft to it.Does the job: activates when the light gets low. However, my only gripe is I wish there was a way to lower or adjust the light sensitivity, given it often turns on in the earliest of twilight hours for me, way before dusk when there's still plenty of light out.

Purchased one for outdoor use, running a water fountain's lights, then christmas lights (all LED, so low power), now both. Almost a year still working fine.[Edit] This next paragraph is wrong. It was working correctly:Second one purchased for indoor use, one low wattage fluorescent bulb, failed in six months. It turns on in the dark, then shuts off, then turns back on. Started with about 30 second cycle, now down to 5 seconds on, then off, then on 5 seconds.[Edit] If this happens to you, it's because the sensor is detecting light that is on the threshold of switching the relay off. The sensor needs to be pointed in a direction where it is not effected by the light that you're using it to turn on, or some other light source.Ordering a replacement. If any further failures, I'll update. [Edit] Updated to indicate my error. Now I'm using three of them, and they're all working fine.

I use it outside to turn on my garden lights from dusk to dawn every day. Very reliable.
