This is a well-made, high-quality brush that’s ideal for short hair and gel or pomade. It distributes product evenly, gives great control when styling, and doesn’t pull or scratch the scalp. I also noticed less static compared to cheaper brushes. Compact, durable, and easy to travel with. If you keep your hair short and use styling products, this brush is absolutely worth it.

I like this slightly smaller hairbrush. I have short hair and like the length of the bristles/quills. I also like the fairly stiff bristles. I think they could be a little more rounded on the ends because they are a little bit scratchy. The quality seems great. I expect it will last for 20+ years, like my last one.

It’s my new favorite brush, gets through my thick coarse hair down to my scalp. Does detangle well especially in the mornings.

I used to use a boar bristle round brush. This has the advantage of being usable to aid in drying my hair with a hairdryer. Even when I use a fiber / wax I can still use this to style my hair without any issues or discomfort. Its somewhat small, but gets the job done. The issues I had with my old brush is that it would not allow a messy look. With this, I can still comb my hair and if I want, keep the messed up look Im shooting for. It also gives a picture perfect hair style if thats what your looking for too. This is easy to keep clean and thats another big plus. UPDATE: I've had this 3 years and it still looks new. No bent bristles or discoloration. Pomade, gel or wax-- all are easy to style with this bush. It doesn't accumulate much hair since the bristles are well spaced. I have very thick wavy hair and have had no issues with this. I noticed Kent makes a slightly larger version of this, but I don't think I'd need it. This is one of those rare items you buy that lasts a lifetime. I'm updating this review since I realized today I lost a Kent all fine pocket comb. Kent has gained a lifetime customer. Only issue I've had is my wife sometimes uses this.

Great quality, untangles hair easily and comfortable grip. I own several combs and brushes and if could only take one on a trip, it would be this one because of its compact size, versatility and easy to clean. Lastly, it’s my go-to brush to style my hair differently, depending on the function I’m attending. Highly recommend this brush.

All of the Kent brushes are a good size and are durable, with soft tines, that remove tangles quite easily, regardless of the thickness of the hair. I have used Kent brushes and combs for many years with much success. They are well worth the cost and will last for years on end.

Met expectations. I like the small size because it fits easily into my toiletry bag. I use it after washing my hair actually. The bristles are nicely spaced for short hair…and feel like a massage on the scalp. I like the way it places my hair before I apply product. I haven’t tried it after applying product since I just use my hands and go. I like the quality overall.

Started growing my hair out and wanted a small brush to throwing my drawer. It works good for me, I have medium length hair and when I do put product in it looks nice withheld spacing on the bristles.

Well made, bristles nicely firm, great size for my slimline bathroom cabinet. Recommended.
