This is a great costume for the price. I purchased the size large, and it seemed true to size for an adult male. However, I didn't really use it for its intended purpose. The material is thin, lightweight and somewhat transparent on the white sleeves. If your human doesn't have much of a coat, they might get chilly on a cold Halloween night. The boot toppers are sturdy, but we didn't use them. The wrist guards are a nice touch and really help achieve the pirate puffy sleeve look. The lacing on the shirt is perfect for that hairy pirate chest that is sooo in style right now. The pant material is a bit thicker. The only downside is the belt. It just looks cheap. I removed the buckle. The head tie is also a bit cheap, but serves its purpose. Please note that the eye patch, cutlass, and eyeliner seen on the model are not included. I'd recommend purchasing an eye patch and clip on earring accessory set to complete the pirate look. If you're looking to dress your boy up in bootylicious pirate style, this set provides a solid costume at a great value.

I was a bit dubious about purchasing this outfit as I am a large man, I work out I will have you know, I have broad shoulders but the costume fitted a treat and not bad quality, after a hat wig and a bit of makeup you would have thought caption jack sparrow was in town, defo recommend .

I liked how it was made but wished it had included an eye patch and earring.

This will easily fit a layer of warm clothes underneath. Black shoes are helpful to complete the look of the faux boots included in this costume. I bought an XL for my 14 year old son. He is 6 ft tall and wears a 36 size pants. Costume is nice and roomy. Love this costume! Worth the price.
