Q: Does it pump at a constant flow rate or a squirt-squirt-squirt like a macerator pump?

This is a Diaphragm pump so it will pulsate.

Q: What size and type of hoses are compatible with this pump? How does one attach? Hose clamps? Sealants?

Our Gulper 220 offers 3/4" hose connection. You may use a hose clamp to secure the hose.

Q: Can you use this for a fresh water pump also?

This pump is designed for grey water evacuation. I would recommend our Whale Watermaster pump or Whale Universal pump for fresh water hold tank.

Q: Will this pump manage waste water from the galley sink?

Yes. I would highly recommend to have a sink strainer so that solids are not running down the drain to the pump. Otherwise, a great super reliable pump!
