Q: What are the light times required for germination and plant growth?

Well I have used them 12 hours on and 12 off and have successfully got chillis, tomatoes, cauliflower, sprout, brocolli, cosmos, sweet peas, marigolds, basil, coriander and rose campion all off to a flying start! Good luck

Hi, it has an alligator clip that will enable you to clip it on the edge of the shelf,table top etc. I have mine clipped on the edge of the table that my orchids are sitting. I also have a large wall mirror that reflects light. That works quite well. My orchids are thriving in what otherwise is a dark room. The timer is great as well.
