I have been feeling lethargic and low energy during these gloomy winter days, so I decided to take vitamin D3. I was looking for a halal gummy kind, since this would make me more diligent in taking it on the daily basis. This gummy is very sugary and sweet. The texture is like turkish delight than regular gummy. The serving size is 2 gummies = 5000 IU. I decided to take 1 gummy each day since it's still 2,500 IU. I have yet to see the effect as it has only been 3 days, but I am reviewing the taste and texture more than anything.

The gummies taste good (albeit a bit sweet, glad they are small - tread carefully if you don't like sweets). My only reason for four stars is that you must pay close attention to the serving size (as you should with everything you ingest but many individuals don't) it is 60 gummies which may lead some to thinking they are purchasing a 2 month supply versus one month due to the serving size being 2 gummies... Yet the front says 5000 not 2500 indicating you will need two gummies versus one. Although I bought without the care of 1 vs 2 months supply and read the nutritional label prior to buying many may not notice. Besides that interesting texture, potent flavor, soft, and a small little star shape.

At times I have difficulty swallowing pills so I try to purchase vitamins that can be chewed. So glad they taste good! And glad they come in 5000 IU and are Kosher!

I give these to my daughter who is on the spectrum. Kids who are on the spectrum tend to need higher doses of vitamin d than kids/adults who are neurotypical which is why I bought adult vitamins instead of kid vitamins. I give her one instead of two but these have helped so much! She sleeps better, is more calm, less meltdowns, seems overall happier. I mean it’s hard to say but I do believe they do something, it’s like night and day. I’ve bought 4 bottles at this point because we love them so much! They taste good and my daughter is always willing and wanting to take her vitamin. Win for adults and kids in my book.
