No. Squirrels are too inventive. You can't keep them off. High velocity projectiles will work on an individual basis, but the body count will exhaust your capacity and inclination to dispose.

Is this a lithium base grease or synthetic for high temps applications?

Lithium and synthetic are two different things when used to describe a grease. The BASE OIL used for the grease is either synthetic (e.g., polyalphaolefin) or natural (i.e., mineral oil). Lithium and other materials (e.g., polyurea which this grease uses, clay, teflon, etc.) are the FILLERS added to the base oil to make it a grease, along with various additives (antioxidants, extreme pressure, corrosion prohibitors, etc.) that are included for specific applications. Just like synthetic and conventional/mineral oil engine oils, synthetic based lubricants are more robust and will not break down as easily or quickly as conventional/mineral oil-based products. As another person mentioned, I have not been able to determine if or which Lucas Oil greases are based on synthetic or mineral oils which is frustrating and important to know.

According to the technical data sheet it's "shear stable" polyurea, which is compatible with lithium, so yes to the question. Regular polyurea isn't. Is this grease safe for contact with plastic or rubber? I am a R.C. Model enthusiast and the gears are in contact with pastic and rubber components.

This grease is safe for contact with most plastic and rubber compounds -- HOWEVER -- This grease is TOO THICK to be used for Radio-Controlled models. The high viscosity of this grease absorbs power from the small motors. Best lube for your R.C. stuff is "Aladdin MAGIC LUBE" (Amazon has it ) -- it's a Teflon-based, colorless, hi-temp, food-grade lubricant that is perfect for the tiny gears and bearings found on R.C. models.
