Berkley PowerBait® Natural Glitter Trout Bait, Rainbow, Jar

i used the hatchery brown powerbait mixed with fresh coffee together on a #14 treble hook to catch more trout, remember, stocked trout are raised on hatchery brown pellets, same as the hatchery brown powerbait, but i added a garlic or trout formula(pro cure) with the fresh coffee for that extra kick? one day i visited the bishop,ca hatchery for the tour, and filled my pockets full of pellets , then got back home and mixed it with water , and stranded the water out and let dry till moist instead of wet, mixed in fresh coffee and a tablespoon of sugar, see trout are like salmonthey like CANDY BAITS AND SUGAR IS CANDY?, and made little balls , the next day went fishing, , had my limit of trout in mins? NOT HRS????

Berkley Powerbait(s) are awesome...My Grandson and I catch a ton of fish when using them... if one doesn't work, we simply go to a different Color and Scent... or mix with other Colors. Sometime we use them with other Baits to make Sandwich like a 'Worm or Egg' between Powerbait.FACT: Powerbait works!

I’ve never really trout fished before so I gave this Berkeley trout scented a try. I’m happy to say it worked most of the time. The dough floats if you use enough of it on your hook. If you use too little of it on the hook and dough sink and wind up useless, at least that is what I experienced. Overall I’d use again.

I wasn't sure about the color, or lack of glitter, but I wanted to get a fresh jar (my old ones are at least 8+ years old and still soft) just for the heck of it. The price was right on this and it worked like a charm! Floats beautifully and caught several fish in short order. Dinner!

Trout love this when mixed with other baits or alone.
