PurexCrystals in-Wash Fragrance and Scent Booster, Fresh Spring Waters, 21 Ounce

I purchased on a great sale because I missed having the extra boost of fresh scents. Couldn’t beat the price. The lid screws on to prevent spills which is nice. Very easy to use, simply dump in the washer and enjoy the extra boost of fresh smell.

Love the smell and the price on Amazon is better than Walmart! Love this stuff! The best thing about amazon is all of the sales that they have. I especially love addon items! I believe when I bought this it was an addon item. I know you have to buy 25 dollars worth of products in order to have addon items at the price listed... But who can resist addon items. (Even though I know that they are designed to make you spend more money!) *smiles*Alright now to the review.I love the smell of this stuff. In fact the whole invention of it is wonderful! The reason why? Because I now use less soap in order to get that great fresh laundry smell. I absolutely love when my laundry comes out smelling fabulous!I put in less soap (actually... I take that back...) I put in the right amount of soap now. Instead of putting in extra just for that added kick of soap/clean smell. I love this stuff and it's not like it's expensive. (It's more expensive at the store. Or maybe buying local is how they gouge you on prices...) Not sure.But regardless... I love the smell and am looking forward to trying different scents!! (And brands... I also buy Downy crystals too.)

I was surprised that these crystals worked so well. I am almost ashamed to say that I thought they would not work well simply because they are a "generic" brand. I had never used Purex products before and always thought they were subpar. These crystals have changed my thoughts in that aspect. I do admit though that I keep looking for one of the bigger brands to come out with a similar product.These Purex crystals worked very well. I do not add them in the beginning of the wash cycle though. I still add them during the rinse because I don't want them to interfere with the detergent and cleaning.The scent is long lasting without being overpowering. The softness is ok, but you can add more crystals to get more softness of course. I add a little extra to things that I hang dry and to loads with heavier fabrics. I really love doing up the bedding with a little extra crystals because I love the fresh scent.I do like the purple better than the blue but both are good. The fresh spring waters title kinda scared me at first because those types of scent names tend to have a certain type of strong smell that gives me a headache. These did not have that affect on me. It is like a softer scent, but long lasting.As for the usage amount comparison between liquids and these crystals, I find that I still use about the same amount per load - a full cap. The cap on the crystals holds about as much as a cap for the liquid would, so I am using about the same amount. A bottle of crystals last me the same amount of time that a same sized bottle of liquid would.It's new, it's different, it works. I'd recommend for a change or just to try something new, but in all honesty I don't think the crystals really have any benefit over liquid.
