Useful to me for archery & disc golf. Works well, manual does not explain "ranging", "Speed"
Although the bright colors of this rangerfinder reminded me of a pairs of kid’s plastic binoculars, this is clearly a find piece of optical equipment for adult use. This range finder comes packaged and boxed for display in a retail setting. The colorful orange/green body design has a raised surface to provide a better grip. One look at optics at the front end shows you it’s a serious piece of equipment. I got this to assist me in archery and in disc golf. In these sports it helps a lot to know the distance of a target. With the power not turned on, when looking through the viewfinder the “screen” shows only the landscape scene captured by the 5X optical lens which is functioning as a monoscope. When the unit is powered up, fine black lines and text are displayed on top overlaying the landscape scene. In the center of the lens view are two tiny square brackets which show you exactly what downrange is being measured. You can choose whether the distance measurement is shown in yards or in meters. Besides the distance measurement, which is the most important to me, this rangerfinder can also display “speed” and “ranging”. The user manual explains how to achieve the “speed” and “ranging” functions in the abstract, but it does not explain exacting what these measurements are. Does “Speed” mean that someone can hit a golf ball, and another person can use the “Speed” function to see how fast a golf ball is moving downrange? I’ll have to spend some time later on youtube video to figure out what that means. It’s not a function that has high importance to me, but a short paragraph in the manual, could totally address the issue. I doubt that this rangefinder could read a small high speed arrow in flight, but maybe it can. As an optical device, there are a few considerations to bear in mind. My eyesite is not as acute as they once were and I wear corrective glasses. The black lines and text that appear on the “screen” are a bit difficult to see. I imagine the difficulty would increase if I were in looking into shaded woods. Another thing is that this device has little in the way of “eye relief”, and that may be an improper expectation for a device like this. If you’ve ever shopped for a pair of binoculars or a spotting scope you might know that ‘eye relief” means the distance (1 inch or 1 inch +) that your eye can be from the surface of the lens where you can still get a good full view of the image captured by the lens. Of course, binoculars and scopes are devices that you will have up against your eye for relatively long periods of time i.e., many many minutes. A rangefinder device will have intermittent short duration use. Due that specific type of use, the degree of limited eye relief for this rangefinder may be identical to the vast majority of range finders. This rangerfinder comes with a nice woven carrying case and strap.

Extremely good product for the price
I have no complaints here. This is very good product for a very low price do I have a $2000 burgess eliminator yes I do but it’s nice to have a pair of rain finding binoculars especially for this price. I think you get a lot for your money, I would strongly recommend.

Stopped finding ranges
Used a couple of times for scouting some hunting land, worked just fine. The first hunt I took this rangefinder on, it wouldn’t find any ranges. Just spend more money on a nicer rangefinder.

Great buy, can’t beat the price, and it’s accurate. Checked it with another
It’s strange forward as far as using it the instructions tell you what you need to know to use it. It was a gift for my 11 year old son for hunting and I didn’t want to spend a lot on it. But I used mine and compared the yardage to it and they both were the same. I would definitely buy again.
