Feels secure
As someone that is new to wigs, I was worried about it slipping. This wig grip works great. I do like to add bobby-pins for some extra security. This is a tight fitting item. If you are prone to headaches I’m not sure if it would work for you because it does squeeze my head a bit. I am happy with this purchase overall and would purchase again

Nerve issues due to compression
I don't want to place blame on this product until I know for certain what's going on. I am experiencing some neck and shoulder pain, along with headaches that wasn't in place until after using this wig grip. I have been using it every day since August 6th. It is incredibly tight and I don't know if because of this, it has caused compression and strain on my neck and shoulders. I would like to to know if other women are having this issue because for the last week (going on two weeks) I have had tension and pain in my neck and shoulders, along with headaches that come and go throughout the day. I'm truly concerned that this product has caused some damage to nerves in my neck and is causing tension/pain daily.

Great for a smaller head
Exactly as described, my head is 55cm at the hair line, if you have a smaller head and use this on top of a wig cap you’re probably fine. You can’t use it on a lace front, if it’s far enough back to not be seen it’ll gradually pull the wig cap off. Can’t keep it on your hairline either, if it touches your hair/skin at all, say goodbye. Not very stretchy, when I was able to use it, it gave me a serious headache. BUT, if you are able to wear it, your wig WILL. NOT. MOVE. This thing grips stronger than King Kong on the Empire State Building. It’ll stay with you longer than your best friend and it’ll never let you down like your ex.

Some slippage and kinda tight *Updated*
I'm going to preface this review by saying i have baby fine, loose, wavy hair which makes it difficult to find a head piece that won't slip. So, I know these bands are supposed to be tight so that whatever head piece you are wearing is secure but I did get a bit of a headache, after wearing for 8 hours. There is some stretch so it was okay for me but if you consider your head "big", this may be too tight for you. The wear test: I've worn this twice, once with a head wrap and once with a human hair (glueless wig with headband & combs) and I had similar experiences with slippage. *Head wrap* I did notice that this head band gripped the cloth better than some other wig bands I've tried (velvety wig band w/velcro), that can also be bulky and hot. This one is breathable but I did get SOME slippage and had to adjust it a few times. *Wig* 100% Remy, virgin, human hair, 120% density, about 14 in long, body wave My natural hair isnt very long or thick so I put it in a low bun and then slicked everything back with this wig grip. I didn't use a wig cap, bald cap method or the clips. I have a glueless unit with built in headband so it should stay in place pretty well however, the cap is about one size too large, which causes the hairline and "sideburns" to lift. I ended up using Bold Hold wig tape (which I recommend for a quick and easy install that you don't need to keep for longer than 24-72 hours) to secure the frontal and left the back opened. I noticed when I started sweating, the headband started slipping toward the back of my head which would've caused the unit to move as well, had I not secured it! I went to the bathroom and adjusted it but by the end of the day, I was just ready to take it off. I know that the volume of my hair plays a small role and the size of the wig cap as well because if it's too loose, it won't grip properly so, take these things into consideration when purchasing/ planning how to use it. This band is worth the value but I think I'm going to try the $30 competition and compare them! We ALWAYS want to feel secure, right? *Updated on 5/18/22* I didn't compare to the competitors but I figured out a way to keep it from slipping too much... Dry shampoo and a little hairspray! I use the Kristen Ess Fragrance-Free dry powder so I have not tried it with the spray kind. I imagine it works just as well. Doing this absorbs excess oil and sweat. I hope this helps!

Held hair in place
This really grips the hair. My wig didn't move at all. Great purchase to hold the hair in place.

Didn’t work for me
These are extremely tight at first so tight you get a headache. It stretches out quickly over a week or so. Idk what was up with these but if I looked up they’d shoot off under my wig. Yes you can shake your head but if someone points up and says look at that and it’s over your head this is going to pop off like a rubber band and be be bunched under your wig. It will take the wig liner with it. Putting the wig liner over it defeats the purpose of both items. It doesn’t come in sizes or inches so that’s another bad star. These wouldn’t work too well for small people or those with large heads. I consider myself average. The nubs dig into your head painfully for weeks before it stretches out. A child or teen would not like wearing it. It makes your head sweat even more than if you used nothing.

10/10 stretch it if it’s too tight
Left it to stretch over the back of a chair for a couple days before wearing. I worked at a haunted house with this band and never once felt like my wig was slipping off. I spent my night hanging upside snd jumping at people.
