BUD Industries JBH-4961-KO Steel NEMA 1 Sheet Metal Box with Knockout and Hinged Cover, 10" Width x 10" Height x 6" Depth, Gray Finish

Using it to house my cable connection that runs underground and worked out good for it.Box is pretty solid and seems like it’ll last a while. It doesn’t have a lock with a key but has a latch that uses a flat head to open which works better in my application.

Used this as an enclosure for a 12 volt power supply and distribution for low voltage yard lighting. Very well made, easy to mount components inside. Makes for a very safe and critter free setup.

The box is well-constructed and finished. I would have liked it to be an inch deeper and 2 inches more in height, or even 12x12x7or8. but this is as close as I could find that met my needs. If BUD ever makes one that little bit larger at anything close to the same price, I would buy that also.

I bought this to use as a project box for an electric brewing control panel. It worked great. There is plenty of space for me to add more elements to this panel. I like the locking feature and that there is a pre-drilled ground screw hole. I was able to ground everything to the box easily. I did end up spray painting this because I made a bit of a mess out of the finish from cutting out extra holes. I used spray paint with a metallic hammered finish and it looks awesome. I did scuff up the outside first to get good adhesion but the paint hasn't come off at all.Overall this box is heavy duty and durable. I thought the price was fair. I can't think of anything I would have changed.

This is as good as my commercial supply places sell ...for 3 times the price. Be prepared to mount strong backing.
