Works as it should glad I bought it

Bought a second one just so I can find it easily when I need it. Primarily use it for paper crafting such as picking up / placing gems and paper pieces. Handy little tool. My other one is over two years old and still works like new.

Love the double ended tip. Not only is this great for picking up jewels, sequins, small pieces, its also great for papercrafting. I also make cards and it's very useful to pick up small pieces of cardstock. I probably could find 100 more uses for this great tool!

I'm giving this pen a five star because it seems just fine for picking up larger jewels and beads, and seemed to be made well. The sticky on both ends seems to be enough for the job of quick placement. I think it'd be fine for the use it was sold for. After using it all weekend, I think it's a nice tool for use as advertised.The reason they don't work for diamond painting for me is the way it's designed. The small tip has a pointed end. That end has enough sticky to pick up a drill for diamond painting, but it's not a strong bond. And I found I had to touch the drill exactly in the center or it would tend to fall off easily. That meant that it was hard to position the drill. With a wax DP pen I can twist the pen to align a square drill to the square box on the canvas before placing the drill. But when I tried to do that with this pen it would fall off. And when I did manage to center the drill, pushing it down until it 'clicked' pushes the point down through the sticky. It was soon starting to wear a hole in the sticky bit.The larger end would pick up too many drills at once, which would fall off the sides, and it was too hard to try to place the drill in place since the angle was weird. It was just too big and too sticky to be of much help.

Works exactly as advertised. Big help in picking up those little bits of sparkle

I'm using it for cardmaking. It doesn't want to stick to paper pieces

I bought this for the small red ended tip. After applying 6 rhinestones the end of the metal poked through the red tip.It was easy to figure out how to use, the right amount of pressure to pick up and then the light pressure needed to apply the rhinestone.I use such small flat backed rhinestones that the green end is difficult to use, it is so big compared to what I'm trying to place that I can't see around it.Also, it lost its stickiness immediately, and NO it doesn't come back if you wash it under waterOh well, I'll go back to struggling with tweezers.EDIT - this was the second time I didn't read product reviews before buying, I really should have, a lot of people had the same problem

Love this tool for assisting me while making greeting cards. Some items are just too small to hold with my hand, glue and place on card. This tool allows me to pick up and place small items and embellishments easily and accurately onto my cards. There is a small end and a larger end, so you have 2 choices depending on your project needs. Both ends have adequate sticky and continue to remain sticky for a long time. I am quite pleased and recommend this item. This is the second time I've purchased this tool.
