Disney Princess Rainbow Reveal Ariel, Color Change Doll, Water Toy Inspired by The Disney’s The Little Mermaid, for Girls 3 and Up

My girls ages 10 and 6 LoVE these. They take them to the pool all the time.

My daughter is absolutely obsessed with this toy! Her favorite aspect is the tail which gives off a color changing effect just because of the colors they chose for the design. She loves it! The only thing is the tail doesn’t really change colors but neither me nor my daughter care about that part so it’s not a deal breaker for us.

My daughter loves playing with this in just about every situation. Just as a doll, in the tub, in the pool. It’s pretty durable but if you allow other heavy toys to get stacked on top of it in a toy bin or something, the tail can get a little bit bent. Great toy overall!

The doll is very pretty and the tail has great mobility. It allows her to do a swimming like motion. The color change is very subtle, barely there. The Barbie version has no mobility in the tail but good color change. I guess you can’t have it all.

Let me tell you about my best friend. As a 32 year old adult male, I have never had a friend as good as my Disney Princess Rainbow Reveal Ariel. Since receiving her we have been inseparable. Nothing makes me happier than getting home from work and the first thing to greet me is her color changing, warm smile. We spend a lot of time grilling, watching tv and just laughing at one of my three daughter while they beg for a turn with Ariel. Not today honey. Ariel and I are having too my fun being besties. And how about that color changing reveal? Throw her in some water and she turns into some kind of princess water chameleon. Harry Potter doesn’t have anything on that kind of magic. I sure can’t wait to take my Ariel on my group motorcycle ride to Colorado this summer. I’m going to be showing her off to everyone I meet.

My daughter just absolutely loves this. She has it in the bath and the pool with her whenever she's in water she's got her with her. The Barbie itself seems to be holding up fine. This is actually replacement for one that we lost. The one we lost the tail was always coming apart. But I do not see that happening with this one. Everything seems to be stained together

This doll is a BIG hit with my five year old who typically isn’t much of a doll kid. She loves that the tail moves realistically when she plays with her in the tub, and she’s enjoyed making her change colors. Lots of imaginative play has been inspired by this very reasonably priced toy!

This doll does in fact change color exactly as the commercial shows - which if you pay attention is just one tail section that changes from light blue to yellow depending on temp. And the fin has a really cool iridescence that my 4-yr old is mesmerized by. Substantial, nice toy.

My daughter has had this doll for a while now it is excellent for the tub and pool. No sharp edges super easy to clean and rinse off. It does change colour with hot water. No mold ever grown on it. The hair has not come out at all, even with brushing.
