In YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z, players will battle fierce zombies as Yaiba, a cyborg ninja who will do anything to get revenge and stay alive. Cleaved in two, he is brought back to life with cyber technology. Brandishing his ninja sword and the mecha weapons in his cyborg arm, he slaughters zombies with brutal, over the top abandon. Step into a stylized living comic book where stunning graphics depict a world gone mad. Hordes of undead can only be stopped by Yaiba's willingness to use any means necessary to get the job done. Will he kill by turning his cyborg arm into a razor chainsaw for slicing up undead or just rip off an opponent's arms to use as zombie nun chucks. Both possibilities fill Yaiba's heart with twisted laughter in this upcoming collaboration between famed developers Team NINJA and concept's Keiji Inafune.

Yaiba
This game is pretty straight forward. No real exploration, just button mashing. Ninja cyborg button smashing. While this is very different from old school Ninja Gaiden games, it's still fun and satisfying. At some points in time, at least for me, there were always enemies that were tough as hell to get through in the series. This game is no exception. At times, it was very hard and frustrating. I wish there were high powered ninja combo finishers or super skills that would devastate some enemies. But sadly, there isn't much. You can upgrade some abilities. But this game felt like it was missing some ridiculously awesome special moves.

Different, but still entertaining.
This version of Ninja Gaiden is very different from every other version released. All other ones carry a very serious storyline with respective Heroes and villains. This version is more comical, and is more like arena challenge in each section of the stage. The game is still pretty challenging, and the comedy gives it a different feel that makes me enjoy it quite well. If you're looking for a deep story that will last a long time, look elsewhere, as this game is only 7 stages long. Typical story involving zombies. Virus spreads or is being tested on the population, you're sent there to test your new body after losing parts of from your fight with Ryu Hyabusa, while trying to get revenge on him. If you're the type, like me, that doesn't have much gaming time, and are looking for just some straight forward, linear zombie killing action, with no exploration, then this game is for you.

It better than what critics say but its different
I for one actually enjoyed this game although it does have a more western feel to it due to different developers i prefer the play style on the regular ninja gaidens but keep in mind this is a spin off as far as mechanics i didnt really have a problem with them and the preset camera angle isnt bad as people claim the main character is really cool to although the game will get repetitive after a short while it can be a difficult game hopefully yaiba might appear in another ninja gaiden game that has more of an eastern feel to it
