Why does description say "metal" in material section but your product features says "perfect absorbent material and waterproof backing"? which is it?

once you use adhesvie how do you get it up?

I don't take it up. But if I did the adhesive is a double sided tape which would peel up if it was necessary. I don't want mine moved. I want it right where I put my car every day. It is great because it prevents tire marks on my garage floor. My garage is also an art studio so I like to keep it clean. I painted the floor red and the floor mat is the perfect solution!

I have a painted floor. What happens with the water? I'm afraid some will get under the mat & ruin the paint.

I have some water under my mat, I rolled the mat back and dryed the floor with a old towel no paint came off the floor. My paint was a epoxy paint. I have no problems from the use of my mats.
