The book is great but the cover was damaged when I received it. It is disappointing since it was supposed to be brand new.

While the actual textbook itself is a great tool for medical students and residents alike, the quality of the item from this particular sender was simply not ok. The first time I sat down with this book, the cover came apart from the spine/actual book itself. It hadn't been dropped anywhere or had any physical damage done to it, so I am not sure why the quality of this textbook is so bad. I have an older version of this textbook that I purchased from my university bookstore about 3 years ago and the textbook has held up well. Simply not ok to have this happen, especially for a text that most users would be reaching for / reading often.

This is a must have for all students in clinical rotations.

I used this to study for boards a couple years ago and found that it had just enough info for review without getting to in depth. I recently transitioned from specialty into primary care and purchased the new edition just to keep on hand for quick review.
