Veteran beach-movie favorites Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello return to the screen I this hip, hilarious 80s update of their surf-and-sand adventures. Break Dancing may have replaced The Twist in the intervening years, but Frankie and Annette still know how to have a good time -- as well as teach their own '80's new-wave children a thing or two in the process. A host of familiar faces -- Bob Denver, Tony Dow, Jerry Mathers, Don Adams, Edd "Kookie" Byrnes, Pee-Wee Herman and more -- join the fun in the California sun! Review: One of my favorite 80s movies. - This film is pure fun. It's not trying to be high art and it delights in its silliness and playfulness. I had this movie on VHS when I was a kid. I have no idea how we got it, but I've seen it time and again. I just got it from the library and watched it again for the first time since I was a kid. When I saw it as a kid I was taken in by what I thought California was, the beach, the sun, the fun, the girls, all of it. Of course they don't show the grime of LA and things like that. They keep it fun and glamorous. I carried those expectations around with me for years and eventually did move to California and boy was I surprised! Anyway, the movie's great. Anne Funicello didn't have many good years left after this movie. Review: Price - Awesome Product and Quality

This is exactly what you
would expect! If you're a fan of the old Frankie & Annette beach movies, you will find this very nostalgic! The music isn't quite what one might hope for. The supporting cast is real hit and miss. But overall this is fun for all us Frankie and Annette fans! The plusses her: some great names from the past - Barbara Billingsley, Jerry Mathers & Tony Dow(all from Leave It To Beaver), Bob Denver & Alan Hale Jr.(Gilligan's Island - the last movie for both gentlemen), Connie Stevens(Hawaiian Eye), Don Adams(Get Smart), Edd Byrnes(77 Sunset Strip) & Dick Dale(from a couple of the afore mentioned Beach movies! And the final number is a lot of fun! If you like Frankie and Annette, you'll like this! This is also Annette's last film! RP

Last Beach movie
This was the last beach movie. It is funny. The son of Annette and Frankie looks like Eric Von Zipper from the other films. He was not in it. It may be way Frankie and his son are the way they are. Their daughter is more normal. It's nice to see what happened to them. I am not sure why they did not use the name Dee Dee for her. She actually got to be Annette this time. It was nice to see people from shows - Wally & Beaver, Gilligan & the Skipper. Pee Wee had one good part, but the song they had him sing was icky. They did the Jamaica Ska song. That part was cool. The special feature was cool, but there was only one.

BACK TO THE BEACH (1987) Blu-ray Debut!!!
As of 2022, the classic Paramount movie BACK TO THE BEACH (1987) finally made its debut on Blu-ray!!! However there is only one bonus feature included on the Blu-ray Disc and that is the Video Interview with film director Lyndall Hobbs. BACK TO THE BEACH (1987) is the 80s cult movie of our time! And you will enjoy it! The film stars Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello with a cameo appearances of Pee-wee Herman, Dick Dale, Don Adams and so much more! The Blu-ray of BACK TO THE BEACH (1987) is a great comedy movie and if you love 80s cult movies than this is something that you will enjoy. Thank you and party on!!!

GOOD OLD FLICK....GOOD FILM OF STEVIE RAY VAUGHN
IF YOU SAW THE MOVIE WHEN IT CAME OUT....WITH STEVIE RAY VAUGHN WITH BLACK HAT AND CAPE, BLOWING IN THE WIND...... [SO SUPER FINE SHOTS] BUT IN THE NEW CD'S HAVE STEVIE RAY IN A WHITE SHIRT WITH A DICK DALE (A LOCAL THERE) PLAYING "PIPE LINE" [SUFFER GIRLS IN THE BACK GROUND ARE AMAZING.] I LIKED THE ZORRO LOOK TO STEVIE RAY VAUGHN, WIND BLOWING AND HE BANGING (NUMBER 1) OUT. HOPE YOU SEE THAT SOME DAY.....ITS WORTH THE WAIT.
