Dinosaurs Attack Trading Card Set 55 Cards and 11 Stickers (1988)

I bought these from Collectible Toyz as a gift for my girlfriend as she loves the "Mars Attacks!" series of cards and this is, practically, its spiritual successor. Shipping was quick and I had no issues at all.These cards are hilarious. The images are over the top, ridiculous, nonsensical and gory. Just like Mars Attacks!! But I found the backs of these cards to be superior to the Mars Attacks! ones. Most of the time the back mimics a newspaper featuring articles describing the terror on the front, but as you go deeper in to the set the backs become more and more creative. From scientists logs developing a narrative arc, to silly real life photos (presumably of people who worked on the cards) in silly poses, to mock radio broadcasts, it has plenty of variety.The set I received was in perfect condition. The 11 stickers are great but please keep in mind that these stickers are OLD and may not be as sticky as they once were.I also received 3 unopened bonus packs of cards. They still had the old gum in them! Some people might think that gross, but it was awesome. Of course, I didn't eat the gum. I used it to cut diamonds.

This set of cards is the best thing to happen to me, including the legalization of same-sex marriage and my marriage later that same year. I feel like I am 8, and not 30 (old) when I look at these cards. They, along with the highly-recommended graphic novel version, are the greatest art and story committed to paper OF ALL TIME. I can only hope that this great series is also being held in a vault somewhere for future safekeeping for generations in the years to come. I am 100% serious. I hope that eventually someone who is not an idiot can make a genuine film adaptation. It's pure Oscar bait from beginning to end. I would gladly make an appearance in such a film for no charge.

Found these because of Hello Internet. Awesome, gruesome, and hilarious to look at. Would recommend. Cards were in great condition except they were bent, but what do you expect from 30 year old cards? Overall a fantastic purchase.

My cards came in a nice hard case in perfect condition. Great nostalgia item for me. I remember my father buying my brother and I packs of these cards and telling us to hide them from our mother. The seller even included a few empty foil packs for me to display next to my cards! Overall this was a very positive transaction.

Some of the cards have water damage and missing two cards from the set.
