SINGER Class 15J Threaded Bobbins in Case, 12-Count, Black & White

After using a few cases this is what I found...Pros - convenience of not winding a bobbin. Cons - that is when they work. 4 out of 12 are poorly done so you can’t find the start of the thread, making it necessary to cut several to strands to unravel and use. Additionally, be prepared to clean out your bobbin case A Lot! The lint is overwhelming. I did find my thread broke a lot but that may be due to having to cut it OR poor winding/inferior quality of thread. I hate to waste anything so I’ll use them but I will just reuse the empty plastic bobbins and rethread. If you don’t mind doing these things then when working they do okay. Make sure your machine takes 15J (mine does) and not just 15 (which my standby machine does)

The first time and second! time around I received empty bobbins in a case! Finally, after talking to wonderful customer service people at Amazon I received a package with actual black and white wound bobbins inside. I have only been able to use three of the 12 bobbins. The rest have been so tightly or poorly wound that they break if I do try to use them. I tried to unwind the bobbins a bit to loosen them, but NO LUCK! Do not waste your time. These are not a time saver.

Do not waste your time or money on these. Same problem as the others. Too tightly wound. Can’t find the start. Poorly made. Two of my whites were even wound together.

Well reviews said these are impossible to find a starting thread and they were right. Would be amazing if it weren’t for that

Bobbins are fine, white thread is see-able so we were able to get them started, but the black thread is unusable because of the way they tied off the thread. I cannot get the thread started at all. I bought these to save me time, but all it did was slow me down and make me frustrated.

I received a full rainbow assortment of thread colors, not black and white. However I got them prethreaded only bc I could not find empty 15J sized bobbins anywhere, so it wasn’t a tragedy. They were indeed 15J and not 15, so I am plenty satisfied.

Product is great. Thread is a little fuzzy but works fine. I was hoping to use the case for storage but it was crushed because it was shipped in the same box with a lawn mower we ordered (that I didn't even order on the same day)!

I ordered the wrong bobbins, needed the curved top and bottom for my machine. Will be returning them.
