This is an interesting book about the Philadelphia Flyers ice hockey team. I liked this book because I learned some new facts that I did not know before reading this book. I read this book for my personal pleasure. Some of the interesting information that this book mentions in it includes the following information: The Philadelphia Flyers lost to the CA Seals in their NHL debut. Flyers Captain Bobby Clarke appeared in eight hockey All-Star Games. Bobby Clarke made it to the Hockey Hall Of Fame despite suffering from diabetes. He was the youngest captain in the NHL at the time when the Flyers gave him the Captain title at the age of 23 in 1972-1973. I would recommend this book for those people who want to know more about the Philadelphia Flyers team.

I'd say this is good if you're a Flyers fan. Probably not for a general hockey fan. I'm a huge Flyers fan, so it makes for good toilet reading!

So six is a big number for hockey. The NHL started with six teams. The Flyers had six captains that only captained for one year...okay so those are the only two on the tip of my tongue.This book has lots of great factoids for fans of the team, sport, or just trivia nerds like myself.

Again a great job in getting the facts together and presenting in an interesting format. The quizzes and the additional information provoke a lot of interest for an avid fan to go research further if interested. Commendable effort to compile so much data into this book.

Nice book with lots of information about the Flyers history.

Reading about sports can be paragraphs of numbers and factoids. But the quizzes in this book with multiple choice options are a fun way to test knowledge and find out cool and interesting things!

First off I love the name of the Philadelphia Flyers. And after reading I can see why they are known for being so passionate and hard on there team win or lose. They have more then a few of some of the most famous people in NHL. I learn so much like The Flyers were the first team not part of the “Original Six” to win a Stanley Cup.

My husband is a giant fan of all Philadelphia sports and has been since birth. It’s very hard to find him any books or trivia questions that he doesn’t automatically know the answers too.
