Print very small - Difficult to Follow
I'd skip this one. Have bought a fair number of medical books, some self-help, some more detailed like this one. Among the group, this was the worst, small difficult to read print and bad presentation logic that is inconsistent from chapter to chapter. That said, it's not easy to find an allergy book unlike books on cataracts or gastrointestinal problems. Lots of jargon which I've found is common when understanding of an illness is not so great which seems to be true for allergies. I'd say unfortunately for those of us with allergies, that's the case. Also, they seem to be the most expensive! As a contrast for something as sophisticated and similarly, more for a physician, I bought a book called Hiatal Hernia Surgery by Muhammed Ashraf Memon which was also chapter by chapter by different authors that was far more readable and did not have this book's more cryptic presentation and small print. I mention in case you have GI problems and would like something more sophisticated and readable, but also as a contrast to this one showing how it could be done far better. It's level of sophistication is no excuse for the bad format and not so great writing.Of course, hope you don't need hiatal hernia surgery. Any surgery makes me nervous, perhaps you too.
