Very good quality. I probably should have gotten one with a shorter stem.

Just bought one for a customers offset build, and it had the lock nut with it. Excellent temp gage, well worth the price.

Fits well in our Lyfe Time BBQ smoker, needs the 4903101-thermometer installation kit because it only includes a 1/2" electrical star to lock it in place, which is awkward if you have a 1/2" pipe mount welded in. People were wondering if you can calibrate it and the answer is yes, directions in picture attached, Stainless steel construction should last a long time and for the quality price is not bad compared to other high-end thermometers with lower ratings, Manufactured in Rochester NY

Thermometer was functioning fine for several months until it started to fog up. This was a clear indicator that the unit is not sealed properly. I figured, no big deal - Tel-Tru stands behind their products with a fantastic warranty. Reached out to Tel-Tru via the Amazon reseller to get an RMA and replacement and was shocked at the lack of support and cooperation from Tel-Tru. They instructed me that I should periodically remove my thermometer from the smoker, take it indoors and put it in the oven to remove internal moisture. This is not noted in the user manual, their website or in any documentation. If Tel Tru thermometers are this prone to fogging they should NOT be selling them for over $80. I figured a costly thermometer would last longer than my $10 walmart thermometer. If you're looking for quality and reliability go and buy a Midwest Hearth thermometer. Far better product, far better support and won't fog up on you. Shame on you Tel-Tru, your service is TRASH.
