I was extremely concerned about getting such a large item from Amazon. But the concerns were unwarrented. Their delivery company called me the day before to schedule the delivery, the delivery men unloaded it from the back of the truck and even helped me unwrap it so that I could see there and then that there was no damage (there wasn't).The unit itself is very high quality. I can tell the smooth drawer actions will last a long time. The unit is constructed of nice heavy guage steel.

It's a nice tool box for the money. I'm giving it a bad review because of the shipping. I may have gotten one that someone else sent back because the box was in really bad shape...like it seen twice the shipping than normal. Mine was pretty banged up. Every side of it has some form of damage. Big dent on the side of the lid, many more minor dents in the front. I couldn't send it back if I wanted too the box was that hashed. I should have taken a pic of it still in the box (pic is after we opened it).It's a tough box though the drawers work just fine. It fits on top of my 10 year old Homak SE series rolling tool box. It still locks, although the lid sits crocked. Amazon had been great to deal with in the past. I'm sure they would work something out with me if I called them. I'm keeping it because the issues are minor to me. But writing this review so you know what might show up at your house.

I picked this box up on a sweet deal from Amazon. It was so sweet I believe it was a price mistake because shortly after my purchase, 6 hours, the price was back up to its original price. A week later is was delivered to my house. The delivery company does charge a fee to deliver to a residence with a truck equipped with a lift. Otherwise you will have to unload it from a flat bed trailer yourself. Luckily mine was delivered on a Sunday and the only truck running that day had a list so I did not have to pay the additional $80 charge. The build of this box is solid. Drawers do not feel thin or flimsy, the slides are smooth and don't creep open/closed. Definitely recommend this box. Comes with a thin drawer lining, recommend replacing. Will be buying the matching top soon.

Decent box, could be far better. The lock on it operates in an interesting fashion, and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 unlocks to actually release the drawers. If you plan to use it at home, this is going to be the best use for this box in my opinion. The drawer liners that come with it are alright at best, you will need some heavier duty ones. Along with liners, something that will keep the liners stuck to the drawers will also be needed. In terms of capacity, I haven't really gotten close to the speced weight capacity, so I can't tell from there.The drawers operate nice and smooth on this box which is very nice. I really like the handle as well, along with the locks on the casters. When it's locked, it's not moving around at all. I would even trust those locks on a slight hill. Construction of the box seems to be quite solid as well which is pretty good.Honestly though, if you are in the market to buy a tool box of this size you will be better off buying a 44" harbor freight one in my opinion. Don't just take my word for it, do a little research on it, you will see they are of amazing quality.

great product sturdy construction. excellent shelf positioning capabilities. more places to adjust the height of each shelf than most other cabinets. love the full length handle on the locker. lock is good. wish the magnets holding the door were a little better and the hanging prongs were a little deeper and went downward just a little bit more for a little more peace of mind that it wont seem like its gonna slip off othersise the tabs are nicely spot weldedto the main body for strength. wish the drawers could be opened with the door at 90 degrees instead of about 140 ish and even then its scraping the door until you open a full 180. otherwise good quality drawrs and overall excellent locker would definitely recommend to others. paint is slightly brighter than my craftsman box but close enough

When the mess in my wood shop became just too much, I decided to buy a tool chest. I have both a Snap-on and a Harbor Freight. The differences are enormous. This time I'm went with Homak and the quality is so much better than HF. Do I dare say equal to the Snap-on? Yes. Fit and finish, perfect. Lock works without flaw. Wheels are excellent. Zero criticisms plus, truck tailgate to garage service! The blue color is amazing.

I was definately not dissapointed with the quality of this toolbox. Very sturdy and smooth. Item showed up in perfect condition and packaged very well. Packaging was very protective but easy to remove. Wheels and handle went on easy and were super heavy duty. Drawers are very smooth and come with foam liners in each drawer. This is much better that both of my craftsman boxes that were much more expensive.
