Incredible Flavor – Elevates Every DishI absolutely love this soy sauce! The Yamasa Spicy Soy Sauce stands out from all the others I’ve tried — it’s rich, perfectly balanced, and adds just the right kick of heat without overpowering the dish.Whether I’m using it for dipping, cooking, or marinades, it truly elevates the taste and makes every bite more delicious. This has become a staple in my kitchen — nothing else compares!Highly recommended for anyone who wants to bring their meals to the next level.Game-changer in a bottle. The very best day today, soy sauce out there
This is my go to, every day soy sauce. It is not as salty as supermarket brands, and it has a wonderful flavor. It is great to cook with. Are there better soy sauces? Yeah, there are. But they’re also a lot more expensive, and for day-to-day use, especially with cooking. This is pretty much the perfect soy sauce. I actually have this in my subscribe and save because I love it so much and use it so much. And I have to say that one of my most favorite things in the entire world to eat, which sounds so basic, is just white rice with butter and this soy sauce on top. It is heaven.

Delicious, but not actually a spicy variety
1 star deducted for inaccurate description - this is just normal Yamasa soy sauce. That said, it's still my absolute favorite brand and some of the best shoyu I've ever had.

Great taste
It's not as strong as Kikkoman's doesn't have a molasses taste. I'd say it has a better overall taste. It's not as salty as Kikkoman either. Better bang for your buck. I think I'll continue buying this from now on. I like to try the no sodium if it's available.

Yamasa is the stuff
Yamasa soy sauce is my preferred brand after trying it at a restaurant years ago. The local international market only carries it intermittently, so Amazon to the rescue. Much better than Kikkoman to my tastebuds. Maybe it's because they use alcohol in the making of it, in place of whatever other brands use. Regardless, I like it best. Don't use it every day, but when I do it adds the right flavor.I'm not sure what the spicy designation is, since the ingredients make clear nothing spicy like peppers have been added to it. There is no spicy taste to it at all.Good stuff

Great soy sauce
I prefer barrel aged soy sauce for dipping and Yamasa soy sauce for everything else! I like to mix an ounce or so of Yamasa soy sauce with some tubed wasabi to taste and then marinate thinly sliced fresh tuna and salmon for about 30 minutes! Freshly made sushi rice topped with salmon roe, cubed avocado and Yamasa marinated tuna and salmon, delicious!
