I was trying to find a decent travel sized cage for my budgies in using for vet visits or whatever. I kept my eye on this for some time but never bought it because of the wider bar spacing. I finally caved and got it anyway thinking that if it was too inappropriate, just send it back because sometimes it's better to see something in person rather than imagine it in my head.I'm glad I ordered it because not even a couple of days after receiving it, I made an emergency appointment with the vet because I thought my female budgie was egg bound. To get her into this cage was easy and quick. She isn't a tame bird so the stress of trying to fit her into a cage that has smaller doors is something I was glad I didn't have to put her through. She was able to return to her cage at home after the vet visit by placing the open cage door next to her "home" cage. Worked like a charm.I do have one small gripe and it's to do with the cup holders. One of them had been welded in such a way that it is impossible to place one of the provided screws through the holes. The circular bar for the cup goes right in front of the hole, so that one cup holder is useless. It really is a small issue because I can just buy another one that is similar but still....it is annoying that a brand new cage would have a goofy weld job like this. Still...for the price I paid and the ease of use, I'm happy. I love that it can be collapsed but capable of unfolding and set up, ready to go in less than a minute is a huge plus. Once it is set up, it feels very securely held together.Sure, there are nicer cages out there but expect to pay twice as much if you want one with proper spaced bars if for a budgie travel cage. I haven't seen any that fold down like this one does either. This can be kept nearby the cage and brought out to use right away. I'm glad I got this cage.

Pros: A good-looking, lightweight, sturdy and practical travel cage which is easy to assemble and fold down afterwards for storage. Arrived well packed and was delivered very promptly.Cons: The carrying handle was in the wrong place so the cage tilted when carried (fine after I moved the handle with a pair of pliers). The bracket on one of the dish holders overlapped the screw hole so I couldn't attach it to the bars (fine when I straightened it up).Verdict: A good price and well worth it for the trouble of straightening out the glitches with a small pair of pliers. Had it not been for these it would have got a straight five stars. My Senegal was very happy travelling in this cage.Tips: I added a smaller perch for my bird's comfort and attached two swivel clips to the door for added security.
