Would a 9x9x4 box fit in these mailers?

No. These do not open wide enough to hold a 4 inch high box. The 9x9 will fit no problem, but the approximate maximum height would be 2.5 inches.

2 Questions: Would a 9x6x2 inch box fit in there? Would my thermal label have any issues adhering to the mailer?

These mailers are best suited for flat items like pictures or small magazines. I am not entirely sure a 2 inch deep item will fit, but they do have some stretch. So, I am thinking a 9x6x2 will probably fit, but it may be snug. Your thermal label should not have any issues adhering. I do not use these as the outside mailer, I use them as protective sleeves which I think put inside a rigid cardboard mailer.
