Need real muscle power to assemble.
I bought 2 for my boys because I was tired of finding nerf ammo all over my house. I consider myself a rather strong person since I can carry almost all the groceries inside by myself in one go for a family of 6! But these pieces were a serious struggle to snap on!! One of my boys tried to help and broke his before even trying it Christmas morning. Total BUMMER!!! We finally had Dad who is a total muscle man get the unbroken one assembled after 5 minutes of fighting it and using colorful words. It was fun and impressive how intense that burst of air is! If both worked I am sure it would have been quite the battle of air bursts in the house….no smell included lol. Just be aware of the assembly struggle.

Fun Air Hugs and Air High Fives
I’m an elementary principal. I use this to give “Air Hugs” and “Air High Fives” to my students, faculty and staff. We all have a good laugh when it’s used. It really does shoot up to fifty feet, you have to learn to aim it in order to hit someone with air that far away. Indoor use is much easier than outside. We’ve had a lot of good laughs. I’ve only had one issue with it. When expanding it the first time, one of the tabs will not lock into place no matter how hard I try to get it locked into place. It continually pops back out. The other two hold it in place, so it still works without a problem. I chose the green and purple one with the target sight because it just looks cooler than a solid color. It’s a great product that actually works as described.

Very cool but a little too big.
These things are awesome I wish there was like a medium-sized version just one slightly smaller than these. It makes it very awkward and because of its size I feel like it gets torn up faster than it probably would have it was just a little smaller. Because once the plastic on the inside is torn basically that's the end of this toy. And it's very sad when that happens. Also I have very tall strong boys and I'm thought I went by any means because I have those children LOL plus a very sturdy 6-year-old LOL. She is pretty strong but they all struggled playing with this because it was so hard to pull back a lot of the time. They were all assembled correctly this wasn't my first rodeo with these we used to have them when we were little and do horrible things with them. My cousins believe they invited the fart gun with this thing just to put it in perspective LOL. But anyways those were way better to play with and waste earlier than I believe these are. They were also just slightly smaller, I did see some that were tiny but I wasn't really looking for that we wanted some hair blowing fun with the air gun. And these definitely give you that so I didn't want to give them a totally bad review. Overall we are happy with it just maybe some constructive criticism for the makers more than the buyers. This is definitely one of those short-lived toys. It's only fun when they forget about it and remember it for a minute. It's also more fun when you have two or more.

May not have been set up properly at the factory - weak; tension band had slack.
May not have been set up properly at the factory - weak puff of air; tension band had an inch or more of slack and may not be allowing the bladder to fully push the air out. NOT as powerful as the old Whammo Air Blasters at all. Near impossible for a hand to hold it halfway steady while pulling the mechanism back, let alone try to aim it and release the mechanism. Would be even more difficult for a kid, ... BUT you can kind of aim through the center hole through the semi-clear bladder, so that may work for most people. The concept works, and may work better on a hand made one.Just not sure whether to recommend this device - it could be fun if it performed better.
