We have ordered these trash bags 8-9 times now. We have liked them and reordered them regularly but we will not be ordering them anymore. The most recent batch (orders in June 2024) are ridiculously fragile that you can’t even put the bag on the frame without it tearing. The bags have torn every time we remove them from the plastic trash can. Tonight after the bag fell apart in our hands, in what is likely the 20th time this summer, we gave up and have thrown all remaining bags in the trash. Used to be great quality and could hold a lot and tie easily. That has dramatically changed.

Just what I needed for the mandatory composting program in N.Y.C. Great price too.

I’ve liked other brands of disintegrating garbage bags, but these are awful. They break way too easily and consistently dump garbage on your floor. I tried to compensate by double bagging and emptying the trash every 2 to 3 days but they still consistently broke when taking the garbage out. Do. Not. Buy.

These bags are SUPER flimsy and poor quality. They tear instantly and you end up needing 3 bags when one should be sufficient. I will not be buying these again

We wanted to reduce our plastic use by switching to these from the Costco liners we’ve been buying. We figured the compostable liners would be flimsier, but would compost and break down more easily in the landfill which IMO was a useful trade off. We still wanted the liners to keep out trash bins relatively clean.As the majority of the rolls came to us with what looked to be damage from box cutters, resulting in vertical slits in the bags before we even tried to line our cans with them, these were less useful to us than we hoped. They also tear TOO easily to be useful as liners. These issues, combined with ZERO response from the seller when we tried to contact them about the damage, and the fact these are 2x the cost/bag when compared to the Costco liners, means we cannot recommend the product, and we will not buy them again. Going back to the Costco liners as soon as we run out of these. It is a shame as we would like to limit our env. impact, but this product will not be part of that plan.

Liked that they are compostable. Hey they’re not your mothers plastic; if you put food waste in them and it’s wet-they leak; if you put a sharp edge container in, it will tear. I do neither and don’ overfill. Been using them for over a year and it’s worth the effort.

These used to be sturdy enough bags but the last year they’ve been so thin, they start tearing when you try to unravel a new bag from the roll. They will literally start peeling apart as you open the bag to place it in the bin. The number of bags I’ve unrolled and tried to put in the bin and then had to literally throw out because they fell apart is such a waste. Today a bag split on me when I was taking it out to the garbage can, spilling its guts all over the driveway and these bags aren’t even very full because they don’t hold much! This was the last straw for me, I will no longer purchase these bags.

Unfortunately, these bags are not the same quality anymore. We used these for a few years and loved them, but the last two boxes are not worth it. 80% of the bags rip at the seams just opening them. You can only fill them halfway with light weight paper before the bottom rips open.

They breaks very easily and even split open when I was trying to open up the bag. Not strong at all. Will not recommend.

The product is terrible. As soon as you touch the bags, they either split, or you put a hole in them, making them useless for their stated purpose. DO NOT BUY!
