Is this autoclavable glass and lid ?

I have boiled mine several 100x nice thick glass but the lid is plastic

Yeah. They're heavy duty glass and solid cap. I personally wouldn't use it for food stuffs, but you could if you wanted to.

what material is the plastic?

The cap says 140 degrees on it. other than that no indication. It seems to be impervious to alcohol.
