I could not be more pleased with this device. I had a really tricky clog on a garage deep sink. I had a decent 10 ft snake but it was not long enough to reach the restriction. I also paid a professional plumber to clean the pipe and we errantly thought it was fixed only for me to find that it was still clogged after I ran the water longer. No chemicals worked either. I wanted to purchase a 25 foot snake and came across this one. When I got it, I was surprised to find out how basic it was. I followed the directions to the last detail and it actually reamed out the clog/restriction! I really was to the point of wondering if I had a broken pipe and this thing (and following the procedures) totally fixed it. I mean it saved me from digging up my driveway. It flows better than when I moved into the property now! I am beyond relieved and I'm a believer now. I am SO grateful that I did not go with one of those bladder types which are known to fail and cause an even worse clog. If you have a real clog or restriction that does not respond to chemicals, I would give my highest recommendation for this. Not to mention it came in the mail the next day for me. Lastly, it comes with a power drill attachment, which is nice, but I opted to use the hand crank and it worked perfectly.

It definitely does what it's supposed to I just wish I would have bought one that was a little longer. Next time I'll know better. It never hurts to have a little extra than not enough.

My bathtub has been flooded from time to time due to some hair and nasty clogs stuck inside the pipes. So I have to use some chemical clog removers to drain the clogs. They did the job, but they might damage the pipes if I keep using it.One of my friends told me to try this plumbing snake since it helps him solve his draining problem and save money for him to call a plumber. So I purchased and received the package last week, and it includes a pairs of black gloves, a plumbing snake and a user manual. I used it to clean my bathtub, and I was able to unclog drain within 5 minutes. It was very easy to use. I was happy with the result, so I recommend it.

Hooked it up to drill and used the first time with no incidents. Used a second time one week later and could tell right away something was wrong. Would turn correctly, then immediately jam. After a couple starts and stops, it locked completely and would not turn at all. Unscrewed the casing, no tangles and line was not fully extended, no reason it should have stopped working. It looked like something may have broken on the inside, but not enough of an expert to know for sure, ended up just having to throw it out.

Updated: please be aware that the drain snake won’t go forward or backward. You have to pull it out.It is good for cleaning the clogged pipes if you can do it yourself for saving the cost to hire a plumber. Its length range should be good enough to go deeper into the drain. I’m also able to attach this drain snake with my cordless drill.
