It works well for gerd
I've been taking it for over a year before every meal for gerd like recommended by my doctor and it works. I feel less burning when I eat, especially when I have spicy food, which causes a lot of burn. It doesn't taste good but the benefits outweigh the weird taste. Definitely beneficial if you have stomach issues or even if you just don't want to avoid acid reflux.

Great for gut health
I have been ordering the Aloe juice for 3 years now and my gut health loves it! It doesn’t have much of a taste which is good! It really helps me with gut issues and keeping me regular! So much better than the Metamucil!!! If you are having gut issues, I highly recommend using the aloe juice. 2 cap fulls in the morning and evening is all you need!!! I feel the price is reasonable for what you are getting and it will last me 2 months!!!

Excellent for Moisturizing/Homemade Shampoos
I have been trying to go more natural with my hair care, skin care, and overall health. I purchased this Aloe Vera juice to create a homemade shampoo. My hair is normally quite dry and I was finding it difficult to find something that wouldn't further dry out my natural curls. I mixed this Aloe Vera juice with coconut milk and a few drops of essential oils - and WALLA! My scalp feels so much healthier and my hair doesn't get as dry. I have only been using this homemade shampoo for about a month, but it seems to have made a big difference in my hair health. My hair also seems to be growing much more quickly and the thinner spots seem to be filling in more and more. I have also used this juice as a facial moisturizer by wetting a cotton ball with the juice and applying it to areas of my face, such as under my eyes. I have not noticed any major skin improvements with this, but it does make your skin feel nice. I did think this natural Aloe Vera juice would have more of a gel consistency, but it is a straight liquid. Regardless, for what I have been using it for the straight liquid consistency works fine. If you plan to drink this stuff - BEWARE - it tastes awful! It's like drinking a bitter salt water, so I wouldn't recommend it for consumption unless you can find something to mix it with (very strong vodka??). Anyways, it is working well for me as a natural/organic moisturizer and I would recommend it for that purpose.

Not sure of the potency of this product
I am not sure I understand if this is doing me any good! I have been taking this product for several months and I have not seen any change in my GI health, except for a mild laxative effect. I have been reading a very useful book - ‘Restoring Your Digestive Health’ - by Jordan S Rubin and Joseph Brasco, both MDs. They have a section titled ‘Sub-Par Supplements’ in the book, and interestingly, this section lists Aloe Vera I will post a few useful details here: "As a fold remedy, Aloe Vera is taken the world over. Topically, it is used to soothe cuts. Orally, it is taken as a laxative. It produces its laxative effect by encouraging peristalsis and by reducing the absorption of liquids in the colon. If possible, Aloe Vera should be consumed raw. Most commercial products don’t contain what they say and what they contain has little significant potency. Be sure to avoid the whole-leaf Aloe Vera products! They contain the compound Aloin. This compound is a cathartic herb and can harm the digestive tract. " So, at least this one seems to be not Whole Leaf I assume? Not sure about the potency! Any one knows a better, more potent product that does not contain whole leaf?

Good for curl definition if you have hair like mine
I use this to add definition to my 3b/3c low porosity, medium width, and extremely dense curly hair. I've noticed my hair seemed to do well with aloe vera, a natural humectant. It gets stringy even with even a small amount of light oil (even sunflower oil) and impossibly crunchy with even lightweight gel. I live in an arid climate. I use it over a lightweight, silicone-free, natural leave-in conditioner and together I've been getting some really nice soft and voluminous, but well defined tresses. I used to use Curl Keeper all by itself but that stuff is getting way too expensive and this process works better. I just spray a light layer on wet hair from a spray bottle I keep in the fridge and work in through lightly with my hands, trying to leave most of it on the surface of the curls. Keeps most of the frizz out and the little it leaves actually looks nice. It doesn't seem to be drying my hair out and, in fact, I've been losing LESS hair. It does have a funny smell when sprayed but it doesn't last and I feel like it's worth the trade off right now. It's going to last for a long time because I use so little of it. My bottle does not have carrageenan written anywhere on it.
