Nice balance between hold strength and tear away. Some other brands are too weak and the collar keeps coming off. These only come off if my cats try hard, when stuck.

I can change my cat's collar everyday. Good quality, safe and I made a name tag from keys plastic tags, and attached it with these collars and they look amazing.

Would not recommend as the saying goes, get what you pay for. Bells fell off over night and a high risk of choking for your cat also it shreaded with in a week of wearing and required replacing costing more in the long run.

These breakaway cat collars are an excellent buy price wise, but more importantly, they safeguard the lives of cats.I bought them to bring night visibility to two outdoor black cats.The colors are vibrant enough to be seen at night and the reflective strips are highly reflective.The breakaway tension is perfect, as it takes a bit of pulling to release, but not too much. That's super important because I would rather replace a lost collar than to risk my kitties getting hung up on something and getting choked.I did make a couple of minor alterations as follows: > The closure clasp is a cute cat face, but the ears are pointy (like so many other collars); so I removed the ears. > For safety reasons, I removed the bell because it could cause a claw or tooth to get stuck in the openings. > To add outstanding shine, I added some popular brand sparkly crystals to the collars in order to add even more night time visibility (see pic). These crystals a pleasure to look at, but they also produce super visible streams of light when vehicle headlights shine on them (or any light). These are really nice collars. Just push the two ends together to snap close. It takes a good pull to release them. I like that factor. They can get loose from something that entangles them. Yet if you find collars that release too easily you will find them losing the collars easily. These are very attractive and functional. I plan on ordering some for our next fundraiser. I also love the fact they glow in the dark...for those who let their cats run outside. Good safety feature. So very reasonable for such quality collars.

I have several cats and I have been going to a department store buying break away collars for them. Just let me point out that I was paying over $7 each for them. These just came in and I was so impressed, the quality is even better than what I had been buying. GREAT PRODUCT! UNBEATABLE PRICE! I will for sure be back for more.Note: Break away collars are so important for cats. I have had 2 cats nearly die in the past from not wearing break aways. Please, please reconsider before putting regular collars on your fur-babies (no matter where you purchase them).

This is the first time I've written an Amazon review, but I absolutely love these, and have bought them repeatedly. I have indoor/outdoor cats, and wanted to make sure neighbors knew my cats had a home. The problem is, my cats are escape artists when it comes to collars. Enter these--I'm not spending a fortune on collars anymore. I feel like the breakaway is a good weight--these usually stay on my cats for several months, but I'm also confident that if my cats get caught on something in the woods, the collar will break and let them free. The quality of the material is very good, but not terrific, I do usually replace them after several months of use--but again, my cats are roaming around outdoors, and these are cheap enough to replace at that rate. I also love the reflective strip--it's very effective. I have a black cat, and he basically disappears at night--these are super helpful with that. An additional plus is that you can easily write a phone number on the reflective strip with a sharpie--that way if your cat strays your neighbors have contact info, but you're not paying $5-10 for a new tag every time your cat removes its collar.
