Does NOT Fit Sonos Gen 2 or SL
Despite asking the question which was answered by the Manufacturer, the Black version says it is suitable for new version, the white does not say. I asked if the white version was suitable, Manufacturer and another claimed they were, however this is not the caseDO NOT ORDER IF LOOKING TO INSTALL WITH THE NEW SONSO ONE VERSION, unless the box I got, has had the fittings removed for so e reason, as the box was resealed

Can’t recommend. Too flexible to hold weight of One SLs
A number of problems with these (using with a pair of Sonos One SLs):1) Once assembled and tightened up, the lower joint where the upright meets the plate is not sturdy enough, resulting in flex of the upright once the speaker is added on top. This means the stand is not vertical. A better design would be a flared base for the upright going into a stronger base plate attachment.2) Imprecise fitting of the top adapter piece (the “swan neck”) results in an inaccurate position once the speaker is added which means things are not squared off and the speaker leans downwards (exacerbated by problem 1).3) The small screw that is used to hold the “swan neck” cable cover in place is fragile and soft. This wouldn’t be a problem if the hole that it was going into was properly machined. Instead, the hole on one of my units was badly machined, resulting in the screw being very tight (it was not cross threaded). In order to get it to screw in and tighten up, I ended up using the screw a bit like a die, and tightening it a quarter of a turn before backing it off, and repeating many times. The screw head is so soft that you have to be very careful, and I recommend using a flat bladed screwdriver that fits well, rather than a phillips head which will tear the screw to bits.Shame, as they look quite nice. I can’t be bothered returning them so I’ve put some padding under the plate to make the stand line up vertically, which will do for now.

Elegant stands for elegant speakers
Beautiful stands for beautiful speakers, I did a lot of research and searching and whilst there are many stands out there none do justice to the sleek, elegant design of the sonos speakers. I love the base matching the top of the speaker and it was very easy to assemble with the cable being completely hidden.

Disappointed.
After a lot of research and reading all the sales pitches I decided to go for the GT Studio stands to mount my Sonos Play3 surround sound speakers and after receiving my order I must say I am disappointed in them.Heres why.The screws provided to secure the top mount to the uprights are of a cheap construction and the heads easily strip off due to the screw threads not being completely clean which meant the top not tighten up securely. I was lucky in being able to get the screws back out but it meant searching around the garage for a suitable alternative; not really what I expected to be doing after spending £110 on a "top quality" product. Also, the cover plates that cover the backs of the top mounts are loose because again the screws provided are too short. The sales pitch says they are a high quality engineered product to compliment the Sonos products, that's what sold it for me, don't get me wrong they well designed, they are just let down by the cheap mass-produced quality of the Chinese and not really worth the purchase price. Also, check the sales description - the cable storage in the base is not included in the UK version.

Thought that Sono's speakers couldn't get better?
If you invest in Sono's speakers, you expect the best. Thankfully, you get it. Then, where do you site your speakers? On a shelf, or a chest of drawers? Or maybe on a stand? These stands are high grade. They are specialist stands for Sono's, ( play 1 & play 3) PLEASE NOTE, THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR THE NEW SONOS ONE.Stands are robust, heavy & fairly easy to put together. The stands give the speakers an added appearance. The final set-up looks stylish, professional & acoustically perfect.
