We use a lot of fresh produce everyday and didn't want to just throw those wet/moist vegetable peels etc onto the regular trash bin. We bough an Ikea Halbrand but found it too big. The capacity was too much and if you wait for that to fill up, you'd end up with stinky garbage/compost. Buying the bag for it would be wasteful too since you'll only end up using a portion of it and then throwing it after 1.5 days. I went on to Amazon and search for a food compost caddy. It was either this one or the one from Oxo. I chose this one because I was sold on the filter. I wanted the the contents to be able to 'breathe' so they won't end up stinky.

I was really excited to get this product. Good brand name too. Awful - doesn’t seal properly and obviously not good as allows stuff in - ergo many midgey flies when opened. It is odourless with the filter, looks good, nice size but no way can I deal with flies - 😞 Now is just used as countertop trash can and emptied n cleaned after every cooking/prep use. Too late to return - but if I had used it in time, I certainly would have returned it.

Bought this to replace the mulfunction small step bin. Feel relief seeing the little caddy sits neatly on the narrow counter top. It means, no more bending over to discard unwanted produces and vegetables.

This thing is great - you can flip up the lid and close it to keep the smell at bay - we rarely have food in it for more than 24hrs, so I don't know how well the odor gets absorbed. It stores easily under the sink and you can grab it easily with the handle. When you are ready to dump, the lid/handle comes off to dump with ease.

Daha önce dolaba asılan tarz kullanıyordum ve hiç memnun değildim. Özellikle tezgah üstü bir alternatif aradım. Ürün tezgah üstü kullanım için güzel bir ebatta, çok rahat ve kaliteli. Açık mutfakta özellikle şık duruyor.

Lo mejor es que se puede desplazar a cualquier situo, sierra bien y no da olores. Las bolsas son maravillosamente resistentes y ganan con creces a cualquier otra bolsa que haya probado. Muy satisfecha del producto, de la funcionalidad y del estilo.
