A must if you have Intel X520-DA2 card
Project was put to a halt because of these. I was using a different brand on my X520-DA2 to Unifi 8-port Aggregation Switch. It would show up in Esxi 8, but it would never establish a link. I popped these in, now there is connection. So if you have ESXI 8 with Intel X520-DA2 connecting to Unifi 8-Port Aggregation switch, this will work. 10Gtek, will not work just an fyi.

A Must Have With Intel NIC Cards
I have two X710-DA2's. One is a used Intel 2016 production from a server pull and one is a new 2023 production Dell. Neither card will work with my Trendnet SFP+ modules. Both cards soft brick and requires an Intel SFP+ module or DAC to revive them. These work perfectly with no issues.

Works great with Intel X520-DA2 server cards
No issues with this SFP in Intel X520-DA2 card connecting to Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S over OM3 fiberFYI the Intel server NICs work with the Cisco twinax SFP-H10GB-CU1M cables but the Cisco 10G SFPs like the one mentioned above aren't recognized.

Absolute must with Intel branded cards, also work with off brands
What can I, I tried the cheap ones. Then I got a message in Proxmox that the adapter was incompatible. I checked Intel's compatibility guide, bought these, 9.42Gbit/sec at 100 meters on OM4. They just work.

Worked on my Intel X520-DA2 in macOS Ventura
I'm very glad it worked on my picky Intel X520-DA2. It's hooked up to my M2 Macbook Pro via OWC Helios 3S. On a side note, my X520-DA2 worked fine with any transceiver with Linux and Windows.. Mac + Thunderbolt (& enclosure) + X520-DA2 = a hot mess and a few days of debugging.

These are a must for real Intel cards.
These are on Intel's approved hardware list for my 10g dual port Intel NICs. Other ones did not work. These work perfect.

Has worked in every unit I plugged it into.
Seems very compatible with most brand SFP+ ports. Getting good throughput with it, too.

Good for Intel hardware
Several others I used don't work with Intel hardware but these of course do.
