MGB 1962-1974,AccuSpark Performance Electronic Distributor Ignition Pack

My 1972 mgb Roadster died on me a couple of weeks ago. Spark at the distributor but nothing at the plugs. I decided to switch to electronic ignition and replace the whole ignition system. This was well priced and included everything for the job. Quite a simple swap (bar for the usual niggles in a 51 year old car - the tdc markers were totally wrong so I had to resort to the screwdriver in the sparkplug trick to find it). Took me around 1 1/2 hours but would have been kuchen quicker if I didn't have the tdc issue and wasn't OCD.Anyway, engine started OK, timing tweaked using a strobe ligh and everything seems tickety boo.I would recommend this product to anyone thinking of switching to electronic ignition.

Arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date, all the parts look to be of an acceptable quality. The fixing clamp on the distributor in my MGB has 2 securing bolts, the new distributor clamp has only 1 so I re- used the old clamp, apart from that all was good. I would recommend this product if you want to convert to electronic ignition or are just replacing an existing faulty unit.
