NEW Microsoft Surface Book 3 - 13.5 Touch-Screen - 10th Gen Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 256GB SSD (Latest Model) - Platinum (Renewed)

First, I purchased this as "renewed" to save some money. It arrived in the original factory packing that was never opened as the Microsoft packaging seals were still in tact. Additionally when I started it up and finished the setup process, the surface app showed 13 months remaining on the 1 year warranty! There was not a single sign of use on both the tablet and the packaging.... Score!So, I purchased this to replace my trusty, but aging Surface Pro4 which I used on a daily basis since the month it was launched. My original had been replaced by Microsoft due to some screen issues but other than that, it was a great device. So, being the Tablet Geek that I am, a new surface device was a natural choice for me.I liked the surface book not only because I could remove the tablet from the keyboard but also because it has some pretty decent graphics hardware on board. I have actually played around with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on it and it runs quite well. Yep, it does get a bit warm with the fan running at full tilt but it is very playable.Overall build quality is great. Battery life has been quite good as well; not as good as my SP4 was when I first got it but enough for me to make it through the day.

This is the second surface I ordered back-to-back, they were both "amazon refurbished" the first one never even turned on! Then I returned it, and tried one more time, and this one had an update lock screen come up then it went off as if to start up, but just went back to that screen again! Over, and over, and over again. FOREVER! So unbelievably frustrating. DON"T BUY REFURBISHED SURFACE!

I bought this laptop on the 22nd of March & today is the 14th of April. This laptop has been randomly freezing on me, the coloration has gone out randomly, and now I am experiencing a blank screen. I have no idea why. I don’t do anything ridiculous on this laptop. I just uninstalled sims4 yesterday. I have no idea what’s going on & it’s not even turning off. In the beginning the touch screen didn’t work & I had to restart the computer. DONT be cheap and try to buy this—- just save up for a new one.

My item was defective, the 1660 gpu would fail randomly roughly 20 minutes into use. I attempted to return the item but was charged 50% of the cost as a "restocking fee". Sellers are seemingly running a scam until they can prove otherwise. I have opened an investigation with Amazon, and will only update this review if my money is fully returned.

Screen came in cracked, couldn’t even use it cause it was already logged into a domain. Dirty, finger prints all over it.

Worst laptop ever! Microsoft customer service sucks! Buy something else and it will be better than this crap!
