NOT A TRAIN HORN
The horn is pretty loud as advertised but is not a train horn witch is also advertised. Sounds like a regular horn - is a regular horn just loud. Also not plug and play. Needs extra wire and other adapters to make work that don’t come with the horn

Loud for what they are. Cheap plastic. but seriously loud. I needed something temp for my 70 camaro until i can find metal originals. Great value for sure..

Works
But it's not as loud as I was hoping... I mean it's definitely louder than my Japanese kawaii sounding horns but it's not giving truck-kun vibes.

Train horn???
I ordered these because they were advertised to be train horn level.; They are not.. They are barely louder than my original car horn. There are 2 sets of horns with a high and a low tone. Not loud at all. From the product item description on Amazon: About this item Ample quantity: you will get 4 pieces 300db electric snail horns with 4 pieces brackets and 4 pieces screws, ample quantity and sufficient accessories will satisfy your daily installed requirements, giving your car a loud sound to warn others and avoid some collisions From as google search for "loudest db possible" 194 dB Strictly speaking, the loudest possible sound in air, is 194 dB. The “loudness” of the sound is dictated by how large the amplitude of the waves is compared to ambient air pressure. A sound of 194 dB has a pressure deviation of 101.325 kPa, which is ambient pressure at sea level, at 0 degrees Celsius (32 Fahrenheit). Typical sounds and their levels: Listening to music with your headphones at the highest volume 96 to 110 dB Rock concerts, parties, or nightclubs 95 to 115 dB Sirens from a fire truck, police car, or ambulance 110 to 129 dB Firecrackers and fireworks 140 to 160 dB Loudest train horn 175 db You can't increase the noise level by adding multiple sources together. Is someone lying here?

Bad choice and a big "Yeah, right!" on 300db!!!
Very cheap plastic! The "red" is ONLY on the underside, so it's not very visible. There are ZERO markings like in the pictures, there are no "Low" or frequency labels, like the pictures show. They are ALL wimpy, high pitched horns that make the Road Runner "meep-meep" sound manly! 300db, I knew right off the bat that this was NOT true, but I ignored my instincts and bought these anyways. They MIGHT be 60 to 75 dB's so the whole lot of 4 added together would add up to 300dbs, but that's not how sound works! Definitely NOT train sounding either, like I said they're high-pitched and VERY wimpy sounding. Run.... Run away!

Useless
I purchased this product to upgrade the horn on my classic motorcycle (2007 Yamaha VStar 1300). To compare this horn with my bike's stock horn I used a Tadeto SL720 sound meter placed 1 foot from the horn. Both of the "300 dB" train horns were installed for effect. Granted, the upper range of the SL720 is purported to be 130 dB, but I was still greatly disappointed by the output level of this "loud" horn. The tone was lower than my stock horn, but the sound output was no louder than the stock horn. (See the picture for readings.) Don't buy this horn: it's a bulky replacement, but not an upgrade.

Not fitted as yet thought it would be easy to swap as a DIY but two prongs on the Honrns where as my car is single so may cost me now to have them fitted .

3 out of 4 did not work, not even close to 300 dB , do not sound lik train horns, in part I feel due to false advertising this item should be pulled from Amazon and the seller should get a fine for false advertising and the inconvenience they caused Amazon customers!!
