Medicated Plaster (Jako Kototsu) (5 plasters, 3.8 in x 2.75 in) - 3 Boxes

They won’t let me speak my truth, but I love these patches, and they definitely help with my pain. I wrote a bunch of stuff in my first review that they wouldn’t post. But I think these things are phenomenal.

I have been using these for over 10 years. I used to have to drive 35miles to get them. Now I can just sit back n have them shipped from Amazon ! (and I don’t use any gas LOL) they really work great. I sometimes cut them in half. WARNING:: they stick REALLY well. If you wet them they come off a little easier. Try to rotate where you put them. Don’t always put in the exact same spot. They can stay on for 8 hours.

Be aware that these hurt when you take them off. This is good, because it means they really stick. But ouch! They helped relieve pain somewhat.

I was not impressed with my purchase. The patches were not very effective in giving me pain relief. They are pretty weak compared to similar products. I would consider MaxRevive Plaster instead because they’re much stronger and last longer.

I used to have to drive to San Francisco Chinatown to get these patches until a friend told me that they were sold on Amazon. They work very well and smell even better.

I have periodic flare-ups of sciatica and I have been using these medicated plasters to deal with the pain ever since my acupuncture doctor prescribed them 15 years ago. I ordered these believing they were the same plasters I have been buying for years. The first thing I noticed was that the packaging was larger but, no big deal, companies change their packaging all of the time. I used one of the new plasters and it didn't seem to be as effective as in the past. The following day I used another, same thing, little noticable relief. That's when I thought to compare the active ingredients... boy did they change! The old plaster has 4% camphor and the new plaster has 3.1% camphor; the old plaster has 16% menthol and the new plaster has 2.6% menthol; the old plaster has 12% methyl salicylate and the new plaster has ZERO.I won't be buying this brand again and now the search is on for one that has similar active ingredients to the old, effective plasters.
